  1. Check to make sure that all the connectors to the fuse panel are tight, give them a tug, if they let go, then good, you know where there is a problem. If you did fry the CPU, don't fret too hard, take it apart and maybe you can see where it fried and let the smoke out. Sometimes it can be fixed with a little careful soldering, mines been repaired twice already,,,, turns out that a 25amp fuse doesn't do much good in a 5 amp circuit.
  2. Check that the ground wire for the engine is in place. Should be at the right front corner somewhere. People tend to move it, or it may not be there at all, so good thing thing to put in place. A ground strap from the engine to the frame.
  3. I have a left side, but not sure it moves.
  4. Try MiCarl
  5. If you need to shim it there is something amiss, that could mean out of line or you could put it out of line by using the wrong shim. My experience is that joint is a tight fit. If you decide to just tighten it without any shims then you may also draw it out of line,,,, I would get me another piece to use.
  6. He said ISSUE,, he didn't say problem,,,,,,, shhhshs, too many video games.
  7. The ones I've taken apart were and are tight. You may have bent the tangs a little when removing them. Thinking about it, I would want mine to be tight, yo don't want any wiggle in that area.
  8. Send a message to Wizard765, or Paysaw.
  9. So you come up to the customs booth, pick a line that looks good,,,, I said YOU, remember, and once in that line I'll tell you that you picked the wrong one,,,,, now we get to see who's right. Right Mike, right Wayne??????
  10. Years ago when you wanted to get your drivers license, your dad made sure you knew how to fill the tank, change a tire and boost the battery. Point is, you had to know more than how to push the gas pedal. Today, that's not the case anymore. A lot of people have no idea what's under the hood, or in the trunk, some don't have any idea why it is that you have to put gas in the tank. Point is:,,their thought:,,, if I stop what good will that do, I don't know a blasted thing about what's wrong,,, now if his i-pod didn't work I could fix it. We have also become a very self centered society, caring only for what happens to ones self. We also figure that everybody has a cell phone, so help is only a call away. Put that all together, and we are alienating ourselves from each other,, it's the progression of society, not a good thing, but that's the way things are headed.

  15. Usually we just put one layer of black vinyl tape over the groove when we install the seal, that groove will damage the seal, especially if it has a nick in it, and we never think to check there of course.
  16. May He comfort and sustain them through this time of sorrow.
  17. Dielectric grease is a lubrication product that is non-conductive, so good to use on the boots to stop any cross firing from the cap to the outside of the plug, but tends to stop current flow if you put it on the clip that attaches to the plug. So it great stuff to keep current where it belongs, but does nothing for current flow. Regular grease on the other hand can allow current flow, so is not suggested to use where loss of current to other components may be in-desirable. So use a bit of dielectric on the boots to keep them from sticking and keep the current in it's place, but try not to put it on any connections.
  18. Oh Ya???? little you know,,, we have labor here as well you know,,, and we have to work harder because we is north of the border and have snow,, or something. Anyways, we do have Labour Day, always the first Monday of Sept.
  19. Make sure you use the wire type not the carbon type. As mentioned, ignition wires by the foot is rather cheap, probably cheaper than the shipping on anything from e-bay. Make sure to reuse the double jacket that you'll find on the old ones.
  20. Good thought, now that I remember.
  21. 100% agreed, I wouldn't go anywhere with a bum seal, or without oil, there is a reason for that stuff, and it's not there just to make it look pretty.

Couldn't understand why I only got lemonade,,, I mean what was in your head boy,,, lemonade for a first time visitor???,, hey there was ice-tea in the basement,,, shsshs,,,MEN!!!! Then she wanted to trade bikes,,, well now she just slipped on a big mud slide,,,,, down she went in my estimation,, but good girl that she is,,, she offered to try out the back seat of Scamper instead,,,,, well it went something like that,, not quite as flowered up maybe,, but that's how I remember things,,,, I think.
