  1. If you mount the lights that low you will limit their usefulness. Lights need to shine down on the road to light the road surface, so if they are mounted low most of the usable light will be lighting the trees. In the daytime you also want to stay off the road surface so you can be seen, too low and all the light will go un-noticed.
  2. 8am
  3. That wouldn't be O'Canada, it would be more like OhOh'Canada.
  4. I likes that color. Gonna take a bit to get used to riding it, but I watched B2Dad on his, and I would say he didn't loose out on any fun at all. So train, learn and enjoy!!
  5. That'll learn ya,, well maybe,,,, it don't look real bad, but I bet you found you had some feelings anyways. Glad it wasn't me, because then it would REALLY HURT!!! Heal fast and keep it all clean and dry. Take some echinacea, it really helps in the healing process.
  6. Ben and Carl are planning to meet at Casablanca and leaving there at 9am Thursday. Just so you know and if you want to join us. I kept this short, aren't you impressed?
  7. Keep it simple, start with the sync. Sounds to me that would be the major if not all of your problem. You will need a proper gauge though, it can't be done by ear, I mean, it can't be done by ear, which means that listening to it won't get you very far, you'll need eyes to do it even close to right.
  8. Hey that's pretty neat. Wrong color though, would have to go to Motorcycle Tom, he has the white one. Might just have to get rid of the tool box now.
  9. Save your breath Puc, CTs don't fit the first gen, not enough room to clear.
  10. As you sit on the bike, 3&4 are on the right side. Now which ones exactly are the issue, it makes a difference on the diagnosis.
  11. You sure is putting the pressure on Bobbie, Holland eating????? that's got to be good, maybe I'll even come early.
  12. As the Good Book says: there is a time to mourn, so have at it and don't hold back. After that, there is joy when you can remember what it was like while she was with you. Maybe take a few moments to think as to what it might have been like if she had been somebody else. Yes, then you can be very happy with what you have received from the One who knows all. He will continue to supply all your needs and even make your cup overflow. Blessings from the One above.
  13. Crap, now I got it figured that Bob outdone me again, I'm 244,,, never knew that. Thanks Jack for the enlightenment.
  14. I used to be gay,,,,,,, but then it was just having fun, guess now it means funny. Now they call me straight,,,,, isn't that the opposite of crooked? or bent? or twirly?
  15. That would kind of depend on the heat of the moment, some of us would be able to manage without the machine.
  16. Wow,, it's been a long while since we've seen those two. Hope you brought some good karma down from the north for them to enjoy. You two could be VR ambassadors for this season eh? Yeh, you probably are, without even asking. Good to see ya'all looking so good. Enjoy the time together!!!
  17. Try this, Hummingbird may still have it, or you can download a service manual from the site here. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?131283-Owners-Manual&highlight=manual
  18. Raggie has a good point. I do feel for you though and somewhat understand what you are dealing with. I bet it's not the money that is the culprit, just a feeling of responsibility and devotion. I don't really think it's a bad thing that the toys sit for a while during a time of busyness but you do need to look after yourself first. If you don't, you will loose both jobs and then have a real bad feeling of failure. Normally a person can work 40 to 50 hrs per week, maybe a few more if it's all at home, but more than that will start to tell in family relations, health, and personal welfare. So take a hard look at your situation and those around you, decide what you can do and then make the hard adjustments. During that time do some knee work and check things out with Him who knows all and will look after His little ones so that not a hair falls without Him knowing about it. The answer you get may not be the one you were thinking, but trust Him to lead you and all will work out better.
  19. I think somebody thought to adjust the idle somewhat, saw a screw, turned it and adjusted the RPMs sure enough, but got the wrong one. Once on that road it's hard to turn back unless there is a carbtune nearby.
  20. I'm still using close to the original version that Wayne gave me with my new LT. I turned off the updating thingy that wanted to shut me down every other day and disrupt my life. Haven't had an update in I bet about a year. SO far so good!
  21. That tire would be no problem. Those few cracks don't mean a thing,,,,, in the back of a pick-up truck, but on the road,,,,,NO WAY!!!!
  22. That's what keeps her so trim and young looking. Did you say something Bob?
  23. Looks a lot better than the old one. I notice the side door looks usable on this one, and the front end is more aerodynamic. GM makes a good car, hopes she enjoys it, because Nissan makes a good one as well.
  24. Well leave to the Torontoians! They were told that Aussie Annie was on her way done, but they didn't find out til later that Quickstep was also on the way. Takes time to get things ready for the extra,, soooo, slow the train and blame it on CN. Have a good night!
  25. Let the chauffeur worry over the minor details will ya, all you have to do is make sense of what your saying.
