  1. I have been using MapQuest for a long time now but MapQuest has quit using the Garmin communicator to connect with Garmin. So what maps and software do you use to download routs to the GPS? II have tried Basecamp and it STINKS. Any help is appreciated.:bang head:
  2. Yes what Fool said.
  3. You can do what I do and you don't have to call the wife. :no-no-no: Instead of lifting your leg over the pillion to get on. Lift your leg straight over the driver seat and when your bottom hits the seat and your foot hits the ground on the other side it rocks the bike off the stand.
  4. I have a couple of hoods that I took off my bike but no rings.
  5. They will take down a small animal if the turtle is big enough. You should see the commotion when one gets a duck.
  6. Sorry for your friend. Prayers sent.
  7. Sorry to hear this. Prayers sent get well soon.
  8. When they cut a kickstand and re weld it is just above the wire loop that you use to put the stand down. I have seen a few on ebay but have not looked for a couple days.
  9. Sounds like the PO had the kickstand shortened when he lowered the bike.
  10. Eck there is so many in WV I just can't name them all.:happy65:
  11. Yes it is an easy install, just remove the rear bole from the passenger floorboard and the pipe hanger bolt and mount the bracket.
  12. Glad you weren't hurt any worse. Ankles and ribs do take a while to mend so take it easy.
  13. Maybe, I am retiring next spring. Have to see what they come out with. Mine is paid off and runs great. But just maybe.
  14. Sorry to hear about the scoot and glad the brother in law is ok. I have two stock shields here one is cut down a few inches and the other is factory hight. You can have either one . I think I have a few of the brackets from the left side that go under the fairing. Let me know if you need any of them.
  15. No wonder I felt so much at home when I came to this site.:rotf:
  16. I usualy get most of my parts from Partshark.com. Have an order coming in from them now. Front brakes are one of the items I am getting. I will order another set and have them on hand.
  17. I have the Back-off modulator and have had it for five or six years. I have it hooked to all my brake lights. Two on the saddlebags, the under the trunk and the brake light. Have not had a problem yet and hope I don't.
  18. I was going to post on this subject BUT I will just sit in a corner and keep my trap shut.
  19. I am putting a new set of E III on before my trip next month. And I run the 130 on the front, have used them the last five years. Can't see any reason to change brands now.
  20. I have used acetone for 36 years at work. Have brought a lot of it home. Store it in Pepsi bottles with no problem and mix it in a spray bottle a little at a time.
  21. I shave seen this post a few years ago. Have been using ever since. I told a few friends about it and they use it also.
  22. David you will never hear the stock horn with the Bad Boys. I made a cover plate for the stock horn location and junked the stock horn.
  23. When I wired mine I came off the relay with a spliter wire and ran them to both horns. When I put the trumpet horns on I used another relay for that set. When I installed the electric horns under the fairing I ran another relay and used the horn wires from the lower left fairing to activate them.
  24. Cute dog. Just watch he doesn't pee down the side of the bike.
  25. David your horn will set just behind the floorboard. Here is a pic of mine. http://s253.photobucket.com/user/slowrollwv/media/IMG_0691.jpg.html?sort=3&o=140
