I have been using MapQuest for a long time now but MapQuest has quit using the Garmin communicator to connect with Garmin. So what maps and software do you use to download routs to the GPS? II have tried Basecamp and it STINKS. Any help is appreciated.:bang head:
You can do what I do and you don't have to call the wife. :no-no-no: Instead of lifting your leg over the pillion to get on. Lift your leg straight over the driver seat and when your bottom hits the seat and your foot hits the ground on the other side it rocks the bike off the stand.
When they cut a kickstand and re weld it is just above the wire loop that you use to put the stand down. I have seen a few on ebay but have not looked for a couple days.
Sorry to hear about the scoot and glad the brother in law is ok. I have two stock shields here one is cut down a few inches and the other is factory hight. You can have either one . I think I have a few of the brackets from the left side that go under the fairing. Let me know if you need any of them.
I usualy get most of my parts from Partshark.com. Have an order coming in from them now. Front brakes are one of the items I am getting. I will order another set and have them on hand.
I have the Back-off modulator and have had it for five or six years. I have it hooked to all my brake lights. Two on the saddlebags, the under the trunk and the brake light. Have not had a problem yet and hope I don't.
I am putting a new set of E III on before my trip next month. And I run the 130 on the front, have used them the last five years. Can't see any reason to change brands now.
I have used acetone for 36 years at work. Have brought a lot of it home. Store it in Pepsi bottles with no problem and mix it in a spray bottle a little at a time.
When I wired mine I came off the relay with a spliter wire and ran them to both horns. When I put the trumpet horns on I used another relay for that set. When I installed the electric horns under the fairing I ran another relay and used the horn wires from the lower left fairing to activate them.
David your horn will set just behind the floorboard. Here is a pic of mine.
