    Thanks everyone, looks like spring replacement for me to. I just measured 3 1/8" from the fender to the light bar. That is with Slowroll's bracket.

    I have the same problem but it is not from the easy steer. I have my forks lowered 3/4 of an inch in the trippletree. Its from the lowering bracket for the light bar made by a member Slowroll. (I see it in your pictures) The bracket lowers your light bar so you can remove the front fairing without removing the lightbar. I have two dents in mine even after replacing the fork oil with a heavier weight oil. Check your fork air pressure too, could be low. We might need to replace the springs with progressive springs.

    Leo, I replaced mine (Barnett) and u don't have to drain the oil if don't need to. You only loose about a tablespoon after opening the side. Kidd-- Congrats on your marrage!! Looks like your Dad hasent sold his wing yet, that was a good deal. R U back home in NC or back in Nashville after your honeymoon?

    I always thought they were heat shields. I have an 05 Midnight that I bought used and on rides the back of my left thigh was getting hot. Then I noticed that my bike did not have those shields so I ordered and installed them and now I have no problem with burning.

    I just bought my Venture used from a dealer with many add on's already installed. How can I find out if I already have them. Is there a measurement I can take of the dog bones? What lenth are the stock bone center of hole to center of hole.

    Seems like a good idea. My first thought after reading your first post was the wet clutch but you explaned it after the second one (10% Lucus). Keep us updated on the long time out look, you may have something here. If it works, bottle and sell your blend.
