  1. Oh Oh, I may have to start flailing on the bike to do all of my winter upgrades that I had planned for. It seems I am getting used to all of these new meds and the dizzy spells are getting fewer and farther between and less severe. If they go away completely, (doc said it is normal to have them go away completely after a while) then I will be able to ride the bike instead of the cage to WI MD. Looking forward to it.
  2. And for the first time in school history WI Badgers are a #1 seed.....
  3. It could be a lot of things. In WI the state has no say, If your doc fills out the form you get a handicap tag. I know people that have handicaps that would not prevent them from riding a bike. You can also get handicap tags if the passenger is handicapped, but then you can only legally park in handicap IF the passenger is with you.
  4. The wheelbase of an RSV is 67.1 inches, this dolly is 83" long. It will be a tight fit.
  5. This is pretty common. The oil light is an oil level, not oil pressure. When you hammer on it the oil sloshes to the rear and the oil level at the switch drops turning on the light.
  6. Is it your primer that is reacting with the factory paint that is under it, or is it the base coat (first color coat) that is reacting with the primer that you used?
  7. Sounds like a great plan. But in the USA age discrimination laws are not likely going to allow it.
  8. Did you know that many hardwired 110V smoke detectors still have a battery backup? that way they warn you of an electrical fire that also took out the power. That backup battery still needs to get changed occasionally.
  9. In some cases literally.
  10. The DL does require an eye and mini knowledge test. She passed. There has been a lot of talk about elderly driving in WI. Having different requirements for the elderly would be age discrimination and not pass constitutional muster, giving everyone the extra test would be to expensive. There are 50 year olds that are to old to drive, there are 90 year olds that are perfectly safe competent drivers. At 95 grandma was working with the church helping the "elderly" by taking them shopping or to church. Almost all of those "elderly" are a lot bigger and younger than her (she now stands 3' 4" tall). She only had to stop driving due to an injury that cost the full use of her arms. She still manages all of her own affairs.
  11. Grand ma does not drive any more, she stopped 5 years ago, but the DL renewal is the easiest route to a new current photo ID. Around here you need a photo ID to see your doctor or vote.
  12. My grandmother just got her drivers license renewal last week. She turns 101 years old in May! Her new license is good for 8 more years.
  13. I have seen people drop them in coffee, but that is gross. I can see them with ice cream........
  14. Its not worth the effort for an extra 15 minutes.........
  15. See what you get for washing and waxing it. If it had not been washed or waxed that pollen would not dew that.

  17. :sign yeah that: Turn the key to ACC and try it.
  18. Its all about the workmanship, some are peeled a little more than half, and some a little less than half.
  19. Because you might think you were in a George Webbs.
  20. Do the renewal notices come out 30 days prior to expiring?
  21. Boy I sure wish we could go on daylight saving time and just stay there.
  22. How early does the system send out the notices? On the 15th I will be 1 month from my renewal date.
  23. When I was looking the prices kept changing every couple weeks. The best deal is a moving target. Find a few places that have decent prices and then when you are ready to buy, check those places to see who has the best price of the day. No matter what price you pay, or where you get them, or when you get them, Murphy says there will be a lower price the next week, so once you buy, stop looking.
  24. Well ASSuming that you camp for free, and spend $10 on food at every gas stop, and incur no other expenses like tires or oil change, That $1000 will take you about 6100 miles, or 41 gas / food stops. That can get you almost anywhere in the country and back home. But that is a LOT of riding for one week.
  25. Maybe. If the overflow of the bowls was going out the overflow onto the floor, then yes. If the gas is going into the engine, then no. If the garage has good ventilation like it should, you also may not notice the gas smell. When my half tank disappeared, there was no smell.
