Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........ The bike towing it's trailer that is towing a floor jack........ Nawwwwww Not the kind of visual statement I want to make while traveling.

I get a lot of curious looks and inquiries about this custom feature on my 87VR. I wish I could take credit for this but this unique feature was already installed when I got the bike. It is a very, very handy feature to have when you pull up some where to park and the ground is leaning the wrong way. I don't know about you but, my greatest fear riding an 87VR is not the speed or the weight, it's haveing it fall over on the lean stand then having to ask for help to pick it up. I've also had some fun with it when I'm at an event and I back into a row of left leaning custom bikes with my unremarkable 87VR then lean it to the right. I love to watch the crowd walk by and ignore the custom bikes and focus on my right side leaning bike.

I would love to watch that video.... Once......... That's why I haven't bought it.

That's why I just got my new glasses with transition lenses. -
So far no one has spoke up for the following parts. So, they're scheduled to go on Ebay auction tomorrow at 12:00 Noon. If any one needs one of them let me know before tomorrow noon and I'll hold them out of the auction.

On mine , and all the others I've seen, the black insert part was painted on and came off in the acid dip. -
Must have been a common problem because the one I have has half of that piece, on both sides ripped in half. I guess this part (Exhaust H piece collector) goes in the scrap metal pile. Sorry
-
To have your handle bar risers acid dipped and then professionally polished..............Check this out ................. cost $60.00

The last time my 87 was totalled a drunk knocked it over while it was parked. His insurance paid me $3,500 after I refused thier first offer of $1,500 and then provided them with seven examples of sold comparable bikes off e-bay. They paid me off and let me keep the bike. I put My time, labor and $25.00 WORTH OF MATERIALS fixing broken plastic parts AND $37.00 worth of ebay parts..............................And rode off to the bank:7_6_3[1]:

I've got the fuel pet cock but I need to sell the knob with the pet cock because one without the other does not sell well on ebay. It has not been listed yet so make me an offer. 2 are on ebay and the front two have not been removed yet.

Which console display are you looking for? Probably still have it. The windsheild chrome is already on ebay.

My Vote is Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville, Ga. www.Copperheadlodge.com Copperhead Lodge is a great motorcycle venue/Resort within easy stricking distance and happens to be located smack Dab in the middle of the "Golden Riding Triangle" (a phrase I just made up). The area that I refer to includes the world class motorcycle ride roads twisting throught the beautiful Southern Applachian Mountains of Eastern Tenneessee, Western North Carolina and North Georgia. Some of these world class rides include Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Foothills Parkway, Southern Blue Ridge Parkway, Helen, Ga Shamrock Tour. But you'll find that wherever you are in the triangle any route taken from destination to destination, is really a world class ride in itself. The Golden Riding Traingle should really be experienced during the Fall Leaf Season. Where the mountain fall foliage colorations will take your breath and the seasonal temperture range and weather make for perfect riding conditions. The lodge features Cabin/room rentals as well as tent camping with a outdoor amphitheater stage that would be perfect for a ride-in Jam session for the Biker/Musicians of the group. They also have a great restuarant and lodge for indoor group activities should weather require. They also have a pool and outdoor Jacuzzi, loads of porch style rocking chair areas and totally cater to motorcycles and bikers. I believe the Lodge would be an ideal venue for this type of event. And should this be the 2009 site selected it would be close enough for me to attend and participate in the organization and orchistration of the event.

I'm glad you got it figured out, :cool10:Happy Riding.:7_6_3[1]:____________________

I've been relooking at the mascot and I see a way I can fix it and fit it in on my new paint scheme on 87VR, but, I don't know make me an offer that will talk me out of it. I've got enough projects. The vents are already on ebay and current bid is $4.99.

Dragonslayer replied to Dragonslayer's topic in Watering Hole
I'm sorry, I assumed you were up to speed on what I was talking about. My Bad. At the top of the page just under the Welcom USER ID Name box is a link labeled Quick Links. Hit that then you will see a selection Social Groups when you hit that the Names of the four currently existing social Groups window will appear Biker/Musicians being one of them.- 7 replies

New Membership committee for Biker/Musician Social Group
Dragonslayer replied to Dragonslayer's topic in Watering Hole
I was more interested in the patches, Decoder rings and possible t'shirts, concession rather than taking office. I'm not sure I can pass public scrutiny to hold a political office.http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_1_120.gifhttp://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_1_137.gif I'm now wondering how I slid under the radar of the Approval Committee.http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_15_56.gif- 7 replies

New Membership committee for Biker/Musician Social Group
Dragonslayer replied to Dragonslayer's topic in Watering Hole
OKey Dokey, When you say JOIN US AS MEMBERS are you referring to the Venturerider.org "US" membership group, which they are already members of, or, are you referring to Biker/Musician Social group "US" that already exist on this forum? If you mean the Biker/Musician Social group "US" , Well then, I'll try to encourage them to do so, and whom must they apply to that represents the approval department, to make sure they a worthy of membership into this already existing sub-Group. If personal references would be helpful in the application process, I offer mine, for whatever that's worth. I don't think your suggestion of a Sub-Sub Social group will be necessary.- 7 replies
