  2. Will the xvz1300 stator fit in the xvz1200? does it have the same plug connector? added some lights, and the 1300 usually has more lights than 1200. So,. is this an inexpensive fix or what?

  6. I have been reading these posts about the stator upgrade and r/r change. Question...where can I get the replacement stator and what is the r/r that needs replacing also, and where can I get that one too?
  7. Well, Ladies and Gentlemen and Venturer's... I am happy (well kinda) to announce that my Daughter is 7 months pregnant with a baby boy. Yes, it's true, I at the young age of 42 am gonna be a grandpa.:backinmyday: I am thoroughly happy and the anticipated date of birth is on or about August 31st.   9. I think that the gray hairs I gave my folks are enough of a memory of my legacy as a troubled youth. But, I hope to be remembered for being a man that was true to his word. meaning that if I said I was going to do something, you can count it being done. Not just empty talk, but one you could rely on. besides being the sarcastic son-of -a - bee-otch that I am, hehe. :whistling:

  12. I have seen some pictures of what some have done to their 1st Gens. Replacing and modifying the side control panels. What material did you use for that? I am looking to do some cosmetic work, and minor fabrication. This would be for the top of the sides, where the radio sits and the air control for the suspension. Thanks
  13. Well folks, looks like sunday the 26th is going to be a good day for a nice ride. I am meeting up with some friends and thought to put it here as well. The more the merrier, the ride is approx. 250 miles from Geneva, round trip. Start at the Water St. Cafe(downtown Geneva) for Breakfast at 8am, were going south for "the Trout Run" route. there is some beautiful scenery and places to stop along the way, and gonna stop in elmira for texas roadhouse for an early dinner. It will be a nice leisure ride and look forward to some of you to join in. Thanks and See ya there, :sun::smile11:
  14. Although we were gonna join the rickster meet n eat,until I called this morning and found out that it was cancelled. So Linus and I decided to go to Niagara Falls, Canadian side. Had a beautiful ride through the peace bridge. And an even better ride returning to the bridge along the parkway. We will be making that trip again. Very Nice!!! Anyone of our canuc friends, who might be open to meet up next time. I'll give a notice of our trip and maybe we can meet up somewhere. Til then:cool10::cool10:
  15. Good luck with the recovery, I too had my left shoulder cuff done. Not sure on spelling but it was arthro scopic, just three small incisions which made the recovery allot shorter. I do feel your pain with the lack of riding though. I am sure you'll make up for lost time.:080402gudl_prv:

  25. OK Ya'll......Not the turn out that I was expecting from our So called CNY Group. Most of the people there were, WNY folk. But none the less, had fun, Good to finally put faces to the names. NO there was no ice cream cone injured today. And keep checking, I'll be posting for a ride and mileage of ride in the near future.
