Well tom, you told me that average age of the group was about 55, :backinmyday: so I have a couple of advantages right off. One, I am a bit younger/quicker. two, the guns are probably old and by the time they pull'em out of where there hiding them...I'll be gone:hihi::hihi:

A nice middle spot to meet for some rides would watkins glen area, dontcha think. Allot of different directions togo from that point. it's all about the ride, you'll never be judged for "WHO" you ride with...hehehe:no-no-no:

I have done the trout run route, that's a beautiful ride. traveled 15 allot when I was OTR. Not too far away to join in on some rides.

I actually added a pioneer cassette deck to my '84, with an amplifier. and I am running 6.5" speakers on the dash. I added my ipod to mix via an adapter cord to the tape deck. I think that most kenwood or pioneer units off ebay, would be just fine to add to your bike. There simple yet durable. and I also got a powered antenna off ebay for like $4 including shipping. That is stream line and out of site, so no need for a 3 foot one off the back of the bike. good luck

As for the way you all show your love for each other, I can surely tell that I will soon enough be amongst a truly crazy bunch of misfits, as I consider myself to be. I took a msf course through the Air Force safety office on kadena AB Okinawa Japan. The united states did not recognize it for transfer to the stateside license. But one thing you'll have to do is...lay your bike down, and pick it up. I am sure that even the local courses still have you do that exercise. So if you have not picked up a heavy bike in awhile, practice. And good luck

I have two boys that are at The U of L, and they also are both on the football team, GO CARDS!!! went down there for a game after thanksgiving last year. Still thawing out from that day, lol. But was thinking of taking the bike down this year, to ride around for a day. Anyone give some nice routes to ride. up around 300 miles roundtrip would be nice. Or if we could arrange for a few people to ride along with that would be good too. This wouldn't be until end of sept or early oct. the ride would be on a friday. as saturday is game day. Thanks

Eck, Thank you for your reply. And I can assure you, with some of the other members who saw it, that it was a legitimate post with nothing forbidden on it. I have a seat off a xvz1300 that is like dark brown in color, and I have been looking for a trunk pad that might match better to the one that I have on there now. Does anyone have any laying around? or links to one. view my profile pic for details.
