For those interested, I have info on the cam adjusters. To replace with stock will run approx. 700. To replace with an upgrade to hydraulic, that really don't need any attention, 900. So... 900 it is, plus a kuryakan super deluxe solo air horn for Harleys, along with a fender to fender check of everything. So, I want this bike to be flawless, well except for the owner...lol. Anyway, should be done in a week. Let's hope the snow goes away. See y'all soon Daitan and Linus

Update, I was given an offer I couldn't refuse. And some might think I am crazy, but you would have to join my parents in that circle. But I pick up Tom, a 2003 fully dressed anniversary, Electra glide ultra classic. Power commander, stage 1 kit, brand new tires, knock off slip ons, not too loud, but nice rumble. Aftermarket seat, lots of chrome, 54,000miles all for only $6,800. It's a steal!!!! I know, and it's all mine

I am going to be back in the saddle once again. I found a gem of a bike, a 2007 road star 1700, with 6,800 miles for 6k. It's in Ohio, Jamestown area. I will be picking it up on the 13th of March. I shipped one to Virginia, I used bubble wrap and serran wrap to cover the windshield. Then I made a cardboard box for it, so that it for snuggly inside. Without any chance of movement. I checked prices for ups, usps and FedEx. Depending on how you want to send it, compare, you will save some bucks from one to another.

This lady has the bare minimum insurance also. But ofcourse, just my luck.

Oh I don't care how much I got for the bike. It's the other I am more concerned about. The one my attorney is handling. It's all good, thanks though.

Update... Being home is allot better than being in the hospital. The service isn't as quick, but I get definitely get taken care of with more love and care. The food is better, and the sarcasm never stops. God I love Linus, she has been a true rock throughout this whole thing. The insurance people gave me full current value of the bike, 2k, I thought that was an excellent price for a totalled machine of its age. That money will come in handy, for the monthly expenses coming up. I am in good spirits , thanks to everyone on here and some that are not. A wonderful and overwhelming amount of support is truly felt. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts and sarcastic comments, love them all. Sorry to hear about the knee, I don't think it's a real rookie mistake, but more instinct. You don't own it, til you drop it. But the knee...ouch heal fast and well my friend. and the key is not to make the same mistake twice.:stickpoke:

I can definitely relate, God works in mysterious ways sometimes. I am still thanking him for having his angels watching over me during my accident. Prayers for your friend, he will need them.

I was involved in a motorcycle and car accident Thursday nite. The woman failed to yield the right of way to me. We hit head on. I was ambulanced to strong memorial and after extensive testing found out that I have a broken pelvis. Thank God, that is all that happened to me and also that Linus was not on the back. I am more than likely going to be discharged tomorrow for home. But will be out of work for about 9-12 weeks. Just wanted to let my venture family know what happened, and ask for your prayers and warm thoughts on my recovery. The bike is totalled, and her car is not that good of shape either. Thanks to everyone and I'll post more as things progress. Be safe out there, PLEASE.

I was recently on the NYS thru way, and whole keeping up with the flow of traffic in the right lane. I had to swerve and hit the horn when I was almost side swiped because of car veering over into my lane from the hammer lane. I looked over at the car and driver, It was a man, who had his IPhone, in his right hand about where the radio was on the dash. Kinda leaned over trying to see what was on his phone. My first thought was to chase the son of a *****!!!! and follow him to where ever he was going, then have some WORDS!!! but then I settled down, and let him go. These iphones and the way people can't be without them for a freakin MINUTE, is gonna do allot more damage than it worth. Be careful out there, it's not so much of our driving, we have to watch out for everyone else.

Who some of you have met at last years wny mini rally, have graduated to a Harley trike. I have yet to ride it. But from what Joe tells me, it is insane!!! And that brings me to my next thing, if anyone knows of someone that might be interested in a 2009 electra glide ultra, that has been taken care of WELL. Please let me know. Good, Things are moving in soo many directions around the house. I have decided to change jobs, due to medical coverage issues. otherwise I wouldn't have been looking. Now sandy and I have somewhat new vehicles. and not to mention...doing very well with my birth mom. Our communication continues and we are growing closer to each other. A truly wonderful thing!!! Hello folks, I have come across some accessories for a royal star or venture. But the thing is, I have never seen these items before. The brand is j&m, model integratr. There are allot parts to it. I cannot tell if its complete. It does power up, there is also a midland cb, with both antennas...one for the unit and one for the bike to mount. I have a chrome saddle trim and a windshield with all the quick release components. and some other chrome parts. This is not an ad to try and sell(yet). I will post that in the classifieds. What I am looking for is anyone with any knowledge of what each might be worth? and or if some of them are even worth selling. Any and all input would be appreciated. Thanks
