ragtop69gs Posted June 14, 2019 Share #7 Posted June 14, 2019 Mr. Gasket 12S pump will work, Autozone in Sturgis has them in stock according to their web site. Pull the fuse for stock pump and plumb in the new pump, hook up power to a switched 12V source and you're good to go.
RandyR Posted June 14, 2019 Share #8 Posted June 14, 2019 I seem to recall someone in an old post just by-passed the fuel pump with hose and as long as he kept the tank over half full, he was able to ride.

Condor Posted June 14, 2019 Share #10 Posted June 14, 2019 Two things... If the pump is non-op take the two fuel line leads off and connect them. I carry a rt. angle 5/16" fitting for that. Auto Supply store... Or if you're feeling frisky remove the cover of the pump file.. scrape.. the crud from between the point gap. That should get you running again... If it doesn't refer back to #1.... Good Luck

Either way though Rodney,, GLAD to read you got er back up and running!! I think he is CTFW due to frustration. That breakdown is hard on a lot of riders. Getting home brings normalcy to life. At home you can deal with it at your convenience. I know that from the last week of frustration, not having control of the situation. You know what I am talking about my brother.
