Trimster Posted October 30, 2007 Share #4 Posted October 30, 2007 Big list for my 2000 RSV: - flip the front tire rotation direction (dealer put it on backwards... doh! that's why they put arrows on the tires) - Upgrade the horns - add trunk LED break light - hide trailer lights wiring under fender - change out front break pads - add XM and GPS mounts (stay tuned. I have a plan others might be interested in) - add Turn signal LEDs to the trunk - Add arm rests for the queen seat - totally reshape the passengers backrest - put on HD pipes - re-set bag rails so they are level - wire bag side reflectors so they are lights - driver crash bar foot pegs ... I think I will be living in the garage. Bob

RedRider Posted October 31, 2007 Share #16 Posted October 31, 2007 Let's see: Rebuild the Kawa 750 Vulcan - again (I screwed it up first time) Paint the trailer to match my beautiful red machine Add a Stebel horn (Xmas gift perhaps??) Plan a nice long ride for late spring/early summer Other than that, I have most everything I want/need on my bike. Hmmm, I need to come up with a name for my bike. hipshot Posted October 31, 2007 Share #17 Posted October 31, 2007 Gonna use a kit or go from scratch?? What kind of Rear end? i'm gonna go from scratch. i read somewhere, that most trike builders, use a 7 1/2 inch ford ranger rear end. i am thinking "METRIC FOR A METRIC DRIVE SHAFT"maybe a mazda, or toyota. i am working without a net, here, so if anyone has any constructive comments, please join in. just jt! p.s. i guess that leaves you out, redneck!! lol:stirthepot: just jt
Carbon_One Posted October 31, 2007 Share #18 Posted October 31, 2007 My project is getting the bike back together and as good as new. I'm also installing a Tri-Wing trike kit to the bike. Lots of work to do as there's some home remodeling going on here at home as well. Once I get the house squared away I'll be living in the garage to or so it may seem. Hipshot I'm going to send you a pm or e-mail concering your project. Larry
