Thank You Don! It has been a great experience for me since 2006. Don't ride as much as I did over the years but still come here daily. Looking forward to another riding season! THANKS AGAIN!

Don, This site has been a huge source of information, guidance, and motivation for me ever since I purchased my 85 Venture Royale. All of my interactions with other members have felt like conversations over the fence with a neighbour. You created an amazing site that fosters the feeling of community. I applaud you for that. If it's all the same to you I'll let PayPal do it's thing until that day comes when I see "404 Page Not Found" Until then....THANK YOU!

We appreciate all you've done for us and this site for over 20 years now.

Thanks Don! I know I been around a long long time.

valve cover gasket leaking oil on back left side
InfinitySurf replied to maddog2498's topic in General Tech Talk
I replaced mine last winter for the same reason & tightening didn't do anything on mine. I added some RTV at the half circles when I replaced them and its been perfect since. Replacing the gaskets is fairly easy, its just tight working in that area. What got me was figuring since I was doing that, I might as well check the valve adjustments, then I was like what the hell, might as well replace the twinkie gaskets & rebuild the carbs... which let to Ivan's jet kit & figuring out how to re-set my float heights. Then while waiting for some parts I tore off the swingarm to re-pack the all the bearings which lead to re-packing the wheel bearings too, lol. Ended up having it stripped down & tinkering with it for over a month. I enjoy wrenching tho so I was looking for excuses to be in the garage. Upside is the bike has never run better and its nice not to have oil dripping down the back of the engine! -

Yes. But you don’t have to.

If we leave the 12.00 going is still goes to you correct? Letting it continue is much easier than trying to figure out how to stop it.
-
Thanks Bob I have always enjoyed your site. Got alot of info from it

Thanks, Don. I'll be here as long as it exists....or I do..... Thanks for all you do. !!!

Our site has really declined over the past few years. I think it's a combination of some of our ,members simply aging out and the fact that Facebook has taken over a lot of this type site. After much consideration, I have made a big decision in an effort to keep this place going. I have promoted all current subscribing members to Lifetime Members. That means that you will no longer have to pay. My way of thanking you all for the years of support. NOTE: I THINK you all need to go to you PayPal account and cancel your membership there if you have it set to auto renew. I can't do that from buy end. There will still her a one time membership of 12.00 for any new ,members. This ix just an attempt to dissuade spammers from joining. I also extend this offer to any of our old members who have let their memberships expire. If you are one of those,,. Just send ,e a message and I will reinstate you.

It's working here in windy Kentucky. Warm enough to go riding, wind blowing hard enough to take you off the bike.

@Woody You know the saying...Family first before anything else. You did the right thing. Many more opportunities to enjoy rides coming your way. Ride safe.
