  1. A favor to ask, it only takes a minute.... * I * 6*Y Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know. http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/

Remember the fish are swimming and if you click on the fish by the time he casts his line the fish will have moved beyond that point. So click on a spot ahead of the fish where you think the fish will be after the line has been cast. This is for all of you great outdoors men who love to fish, but don't want to drive to the lake...so, good luck, and no lies!!!...and turn up your volume. 10. This came across my desk from a co-worker who got it from the Director of Information Services at ****** (not at liberty to disclose) ... Just a "heads up"...and I don't have the attachment(s) referred to... Ebay fraud (Phishing Scam) - please refer to the attached email seen below .......... I am passing along this attempted email fraud (phishing expedition) onto "All Subscribers" such that all are made aware of the types of email frauds that one may receive. This particular one is an an attempt being made to fool one into divulging their personal information. In the following attachment letter 'invoice' seen below, it indicates to the receiver that they have purchased an item from eBay. By clicking on the link - it brings you to a 'look alike' eBay page where it requests that you enter your eBay Username and Password. Once you do this, the scammers, store this information and now have access to your eBay account where they can buy and sell under your name, leaving you to clean up the mess. In addition they most lilley will harvest any monies in your PayPal account if they can get that as well. It is interesting to note that if you click on the Link in the attachment below 'Guess Red Signs Handbag Purse & ........ it links to: http://www.traveldelhi.com/ufiles/default.htm?213rjceirjqexr98rdlkmsanch frinvc58ucrdjkxnerimjgtmxkjnzmhrugt45ncoirehviuhtrckm45x You will notice that address above denotes www.traveldelhi.com It is a web site located in India - IT DOES NOT SAY 'eBay'. When you click on a link of anything you may feel is suspicious - it is advisable "LOOK" to see what site it is really referencing. In this case it is not www.ebay.com So please be cautious when receiving any such emails - when in doubt- do not to click on the link - but simply bring up your Browser and enter the address such as www.ebay.com and check things out that way.
  11. Buddy Rich put this together primarily because he thought the family might like to have it. He did a wonderful job. I hope that they see and download it. 12. Joan (this is no joke) I received this e-mail this morn. VERY INTERESTING ......... This is interesting. When you get the web site up, click on the state. Then the next window is a listing of all the cities in that state. Click on your city and there are the speed traps listed. SPEED TRAPS - NO JOKE...CHECK IT OUT! http://www.speedtrap.org/speedtraps/stetlist.asp
  13. I have been meaning to mention this but keep forgetting. If you wish to receive email from other members here, you must enable that option in your UserCP. It is set to "NO" by default. You need to click on UserCP in the menu bar, then click on "Options" and then check the box "receive email from other members". We use secure emailing here so by checking that option, you are NOT actually giving anybody your email address, it only enables email through the forum mail here. Thanks

  15. Last week I rode my bike to the dealer for the 16,000 mile service. I drove 100 miles to Tallahassee Florida. There is a dealer here in Albany, Georgia but they didn't have the bike I wanted so I had to go to Tallahassee. The only reason I go back to Tallahassee is I financed on the Gold Card and my services are included for 36 months. The price Tallahasee charges for the 16,000 mile service is $1,100.00. I picked up my bike yesterday and drove to my office and parked it. When I left work yesterday afternoon and stopped at the first traffic light I heard the worse clicking noise from the rear end I have ever heard. I pulled in at an independent cycle repair shop that was on the way home. Two guys I ride with were there and the mechanic said he would look at the bike and not charge. We checked the rear end oil and it was full of fresh oil. When you sit on the bike and roll it forward or backward you can hear the click. It isn't a click that you get each time the wheel makes a full revolution but one click after another and it is loud. So I am going to trailer the bike back to Tallahassee. Here is my question. I have a trailer but have never trailered my venture. The instruction sheet with the pingel wheel chock I purchased says not to tie a touring bike down with the front forks but to put a tie down strap around the triple tree. I can't see where you can put a tie down around the triple tree with the fairing. Any suggestions. I have an 05 RSV. Thanks.
  16. Yea...that title got your attention didn't it. I received a private message from a member with a link to a tool called "Stripper". What it does is allows you to paste text in and it strips out the smiley faces and etc. so that you can print it without all that stuff. He wanted to know if something like that is available here. The answer is yes. That is a feature that is built in to the software here. There are two ways that you can do it. If you want to print out a thread but don't want all the smiley faces and etc., then all you have to do is click on the "Thread Tools" link that you can find at the top right of the first post of any thread. There is an option in that drop down menu to "show printable version". If you click on that, it will give you a printable version of that thread without the members weather banners, sig pictures, smiley faces, etc. If you happen to be on a slow dial up connection or just generally do not like the smilies, signatures, etc., you can turn them off all the time. Just click on UserCP in the upper menu bar and then click on "options" in the left menu. Scroll down and you'll see a section for display options. There you can de-select images, avatars, and signature pictures. Now...I just realized that maybe the member was actually talking about a program to strip the brackets and etc. out of email that was forwarded to you. If somebody just forwards an email to you...the quoted text is often preceded by brackets or arrows. If you want to copy and past that text to the forum or send it to somebody else...you have to manually delete all those brackets. Here is a link to a program that you simply copy and paste the text into and it cleans it up for you. There is also a free down loadable version that you can save to your computer and not have to go to a website to use. The link is: http://www.mistered.us/stripper/index.shtml So....you can pretty much have it your way. Hope this is helpful information. Don
