Help !!! I cannot get on Chat, never could, all I get is a blank white screen... Do I need to down load something, or does it just not like me???

I have deleted the database on the older server. Could somebody please try to login to the chat room and see if everything is working properly. Is it remembering your login info and etc.? Thanks.

OK...here's the problem. The chat is hosted on a remote server. I did that long ago so as not to put any extra load on this one. It is remotely hosted but connects to our database on this server to authenticate users. Now because all the databases are different on the new server, it will have to be re-configured on the other end. Basically that means a new installation on the remote server. It is working now because I still have the files up and running on the old server. It will be next week before the remote server is reconfigured to communicate with the database here. So why does any of this matter? The problem will be that any new members that sign up now won't be included in the old database so won't be able to get authenticated on the chat server. I THINK though that you can sign in as a guest. Let me know if you have any issues with the Chat. It is going to be a bit confusing for me for the next few days while I basically have both servers up and trying to figure out what info is being pulled from where.

We'll be getting together tonight in chat to remember one of our members. We'll be celebrating with his wife Sherry. It's been one year since our family member Tom left us for a better place. Some of our newer members aren't familiar with this but it was a terrible accident that took Tom away from his family and the world. I was out rideing my bike yesterday when i stopped at a rest stop at the nautral bridge state park in ky......A gentleman in a venture much like mine pulled up....Of course I had to go over and chat with him..He hadnt heard of this website so I invited him to join..So if you see a gentleman named Mike from canton ky welcome him.....

Chat Party Tonight! Starts when you get there. Ok around 9 eastern time so the west coast folks can try and show up. So Come one come all. We're gonna celebrate the 1 yr anniversary tonight. About a year ago Yamamama and I started hanging out in chat every night. We've had lots of fun with all the folks who come in to chat with us. Also we just hit 4321 members today. Just a fun little milestone to celebrate too. So come on in I'm sure we'll have fun and the beer will be flowing. We'll probably start around 9 pm eastern time. Oh we can also celebrate daylight savings time since we lost an hour today. Just means spring is that much closer even for those of you with snow at the moment. Margaret

Ok this is for thoughs of you who cant get the chat to work or to work with colors or if you cant get it to even open the chat room This is a windows fix!!! 1. click on start then control panel then add remove programs you will remove JAVA 2. go to this link http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp now go to the 4th one down its the (JRE) 5.0 update 12 and click on download it will take you to a new window there you will need to click on "Accept" its just below the RED "REQUIRED" 3. now all you need to do is to put a check in the box for the download the one you want is the second one down form the top its "windows online installation (typical download size is ~7.1MB), Multilanguage 4. once downloaded and installed restart your computer and your ready to chat

To all who did get to make the chat last night it was great to get to visit with all of you .I had a great time better than going out and bringing in the New Year like in the past ,and feel a lot better today .I almost got to bring in 2 New Years with you all for thoose who stayed to help us in Texas bring in our New Year thanks,sorry I had to leave a few minutes early but I knew when the fireworks started that I might have to go and I did .But thanks for the great time . Hello Everybody, I have a question about our CHAT ROOM. I am usually on there every night, with the usuals who are Mini Muffin, Beer 30, Ruffrider, dray, Howie,Skid, Rocket, gmc, flb and several other pretty faithful chat users. My question is why is it some of you never try the chat room? Mini and I have been faithful to the cause, because we believe it is a nice way to get to know other members, who you more than likely will not get to know because of the distances between our home states. You know like California and Ohio for instance. I have met Servicedog, Ladyrider, Princess M from California and Vicco from Oregon simply by coming on to the Chat. What a wonderful thing. I realize that many do not have the time to get involved with this every night; but I guess I am saying why not come in just to try it one time. What would it hurt? If you hate it, forget about it, I also realize there is the problem with the time zone differences. Here on the East side of the USA we usually come in around 9PM and hang in until around 11PM if I do not dall asleep at the keyboard. It really is fun. We can really get into interesting discussions. One night we almost solved the problems of the world. Do not miss it. You will never know unless you try.Anyway, please come to try it one time. Hey it is free and we promise not to hurt you.
