    I believe it is all part of the kit ....this goes in left saddlebag where th cd player would go and hooks into your existing cables which should be there

    My motherboard crashed in Nov...win xp on hard drive..bought used board with new memory..new video card..installed xp found everything just had to update drivers

    I work for a yamaha dealer and all RSV we sold last year came with the interface BUT the dealer has to send to mama yama to have it sent to the dealer..it is not with the bike when delivered..that is what i have seen at yamaha of newmarket

    I have upgraded front calipers to a roadstar (2007) with the 14mm m/c upgrade....what front rotors fit a 08 rsv ...R1,r6,fjr ???ooking for semi floating or floating style.what is front rotor size?...that would just leave s/s brake line upgrade for next winters project....ebc hh pads on front and ebc kevlar on back seems to be the correct upgrade?..are yamaha pads sintered or organic? thanks

    Decided to wire up led reflectors today ...since there's 15" of snow here......wired positive to + of running light and- to positive of turn signal......running lights are as bright as if they were wired normally but when turn signal activated..reflector flashes opposite of turn signal..as in wig wag style......any thoughts about will this decrease life of bulbs in turn signals?wiring issues?

    I went from 2004 vstar 1100 with addons to make a 'yammaglide'..bought 08 RSV do about 12000 mi a year 60% solo ..love the RSV

    300ma...thats limit?...how many ma in these reflectors...they have 15 led ....how to tell what ma is?.....since these led will be wired at point where turn signals connect then down to led would there be a large draw...how do you measure ma draw on a light or led?..also how do you measure RSV amp output.....have 5 relays on already as been paying attention to posts re wiring

    Cougar can you post or pm wiring for relays for flash/ run reflectors....cant get my head around wiring this...is it a different relay type? than a normal 4 post....I dont want to reduce output of led in running mode....custom dynamics has harness $24 that keeps full power to both sides.thanks

    How did you wire them with a relay..I thought they would just go in line with existing connectors?

    after 2 years any issues with them hooked up this way? custom dynamics has a splitter harness but $$$

    Last year I made a set for an 86 of a friend..He had Vstar 1100 driver floor boards and made up bracket from 3/16 steel...little bit of trouble making template but he likes it..not OEM but works

    didnt use r6 rotors yet but looks like up to 04 will fit........07 roadstar also fits...have r6 calipers for sale....pm if interested

    I upgraded 08 with 07 roadstar calipers..still to o r1 rotors and SS lines..now have r6 04 clipers for sale.....will this be overkill....not even close to 6pistons

    Today I tackled this project..strightforward after following all previous posts and helpfull advice.....swapped out for 07 roadstar calipers with 14mm master from same bike.(ebay find)also changed lower lines to roadstar as they seemed to fit better....Went for a small ride around the block..WHAT a difference...much more control.easier pull on lever..faster and shorter stopping distance..Yamaha should do this upgrade....I cant see if SS lines and vmax splitter can make more difference , same for R6 rotors ..this upgrade seems a good step, will see when riding 2 up and loaded Now have full set of 08 RSV calipers and M/C for sale Also R6..calipers no pads for sale $40 plus shipping

    Sydoc thanks for info..re R1 pistons ..how big of a job to swap out and what is cost?..could you explain why the vmax splitter is better..I would think that 2 lines off central is more effective than one line ahead of the other

    thanks are the roadstar pistons steel or aluminum?are they the same as stell R1/R6? this hang up is it common after bike sitting or does the piston put a ridge in bore?

    Well I have searched the threads re this and went out and got a complete setup (in fact 2 set ups) 1 from an 07 roadstar with 14mm master and calipers and all lines inc splitter...#2 is a R6 blue dot caliper complete with master also 14 mm bought the R6 first and will be selling them after install......I am going to use the roadstar m/c and roadstar calipers as they look the same as R6...they have chrome dots .....Are these calipers the same internally? both are 4 piston.....the lines from RSV and roadie are same length banjo looks a little different...I will be replacing stock lines with SS....and EBC pads.....why the use of a Vmax splitter?is it for better flow?.also will roadie floating rotors fit..they are same dia. and have saame # mounting holes any problems that i might run into thanks for any info Les

    no credit card via paypal...should have done that..they had good feedback on ebay up til last month...their web site is still active and I guess taking orders..I have emailed through web site , ebay, paypal all with no response...It scewed up my trip this summer went to using trash bags in bags
