Headlight installed and now I have a spare, if I breakdown somewhere.

Did all prep work today. Install new LED headlight tomorrow. Had to cut and patch rubber boot a little to accommodate LED housing. Turns out LED's are not at the top and bottom. Two LED's to left and two LED's to right... Not touching factory alignment.

Yes, base is fixed, but I believe element rotates in base. Don't want to change factory setting unless necessary. Thinking two LED's should face up and two down. Installation will tell.

Cold today, so I didn't tackle the installation. Installation looks simple, but pamphlet is confusing. Found this video.

I put Seafoam in crankcase shortly after my RSV was broken in. Put fresh oil and added recommended amount of Seafoam, rode about 20 miles at highway speeds, and then changed oil again. No negative change to clutch performance...

Welcome and sorry to hear of your problems. I faithfully put Seafoam and Stabil additives into my gas tank. Until recently, I was not using the RES petcock position. When I tried it one day, bike started sputtering. Reserve was full of water. Happened over period of 6 years. Drained gas tank, gave it good dose of Seafoam and Stabil and filled with fresh gas. No more fuel problems... As for fuel pump, bought a cheap gas pump to use if I ever get stranded. Haven't tried this pump yet. Waiting for spring to try it out. Here's the outcome. Removed main tank, dumped out all gas, added good dose of Seafoam and slushed it around, reinstalled tank and filled tank with fresh gas. M/C now runs great on RES. So both M/C and me survived our procedures. Hooray! Thanks for your advice!!

Bob, Just got back from ride to Maggie Valley. Didn't bother to fill tank when I got home, because I knew I had to do something. It's probably just as easy to drain the whole tank and fill fresh with good dose of Seafoam. Will definitely set to RES when finished. Problem is I developed a respiratory problem from my trip and have a medical procedure scheduled for Monday. Will wait until after my procedure to inhale gas fumes. Will report back with results!
