1. All is good here, we are about 50 mi. west of all the damage. Tragic video coming from the affected area with several fatalities. Thanks for the concern........yammer
2. Playboy is right, the RSV belongs to a friend. It has been following me around for years now, no matter what I ride. Oh, and I am kinda partial to red also, Playboy...but I don't have a pretty new red Victory Lenny, the red/black RSTD you were on looked really NICE
3. You did'nt let me ride in the Miata last year when it was raining-- as I recall!!!

5. We were in Mt. View with a blue and black RSV. a red and black tourer was parked near when we left. Was a great day for a ride, lots of 'folk' in Mt View for the festival.. Would have liked to meet you there!!!!!
6. Why is the pins not showing on the members map??? Are they showing for anyone else or is it just me..
7. Lynn, We went there this spring for a week with 'playboy' and his wife. It was a great trip with lots to see and do. We also stayed in Kerrville, it is pretty centrally located and a nice little town. If you come to the meet in Mena, playboy has planed, we can tell you about our trip there. His wife did a great job of trip planing and had lots of info. The blue bonnets were everywhere........the hill country is awesome Hope to see you in Mena.......yammer

11. Thanks for the post, nice pics. I rode thru there a few years ago with my son. It is a very pretty area. I believe this pic was taken along the the canyon on that ride. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af153/gwhobo/Scott%20ride%2005/AprilTakeOff026.jpg Looks like a brave kid but it wasn't as close as it looks. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af153/gwhobo/Scott%20ride%2005/AprilTakeOff025.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af153/gwhobo/Scott%20ride%2005/AprilTakeOff030.jpg yammer' good times:happy34:
12. Good post Playboy, I remember the track I was hauling off of that morning, I didn't want to leave the radio to load my truck. Just could not believe what was happening. Hauled that load and came home to check on everyone. A sad and dark day for our country for sure, and so many lost and suffering. yammer' will never forget
13. I don't discriminate, I also drive a Ford!!!! yammer' ride em all
14. Good on ya Bill, we rode up to Mt. Home for lunch and it was a beautiful day. Checked out some roads I hadn't been on, rolled in with almost 300 mi. the Hd ran great. yammer' another Monday
15. After 30+yrs of riding, bought my first HD this spring. Always liked the looks and sound but was afraid of their reliability, was used to the low maintenance of Honda and Yamaha. I think HD has come a long ways in the last few years on workmanship. And price wise on comparable bikes they are in line with the GW if not lower. I still have my Gold Wing tho, going to ride them a year then decide on one. Here is a pic of both bikes on a recent trip with my son yammer'which one to ride
16. We have ridden the million dollar hwy 4 times, every time you see things you missed the last time. It is a must see on a motorcycle.. Here is the train in Silverton Independence pass is also beautiful.....yammer' on the edge
17. Yes, the # is good. We are staying at the Days Inn. The town square will be blocked off for m/c only. The weatherman is claiming high 80s for Sat. wow!! Look forward to meeting you....
18. That's right, "Mountains, music and motorcycles" in Mountain View. I posted a link for it a few days ago, defiantly a good time. The bike games on Saturday are a real hoot to watch, lots of vendors and some good music, all free. We will be there all weekend. Rally info, and check out the good looking RSV on their web site here: http://www.mountainsmusicmotorcycles.com/?page_id=32
19. You must have some business in Judsonia, that is not a popular destination for bike rides. Sunrise Yamaha/Honda is a very good dealer in nearby Searcy Arkansas. However, welcome to Ar. and enjoy your stay. I am on I40 just off exit 84 if ya need anything...yammer'less
20. Sorry we missed you the other day when we passed thru. Had a great vacation in your part of the country and got out just as the big rally began. We did make it to the 'Wonderful House' () but that was all the time we had in Scottsbluff. We also colored in the states of S.Dakota Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. The cabins in Hemingford are great, I would highly recommend them, the only draw back was the half mile dirt road from the hwy. Here is a couple pics of our cabin, the name is Patriot Inn, just at edge of town. thanks for your info----yammer'less
21. This is a good time, draws a lot of motorcycles and is FREE!!!!!!!! Mt. View Ar. is a neat old town, the square is closed for mc only, the bike games are a hoot to watch and lots of vendors. There will be local musicians playing at different spots in the evenings, and a band playing Sat. nite. We saw them last year and they are pretty good. This is not a very big town and rooms are going fast. August 17-19 Here is a link, from the home page click on vendors.....pic of a nice RSV yammer 2k1 http://www.mountainsmusicmotorcycles.com/?page_id=273
