  1. Could always follow manufacturers recommendations...... I run 38 front/ 44 rear....ride solo and weight 170 Have had excellent results with Avons http://www.avonmoto.com/tech/tire-pressure-guidelines
  2. Here you go....check out this link and when you go to do the change out, follow these instructions. I did the change out and am very happy. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37770&highlight=flanders
  3. Sounds like there wasn't enough "brake caliper lube" on the backside of brakes.
  4. I have the Ruger GP-100, model 1707. 357/38 revolver, satin stainless, 6" barrel. I love it and as mentioned, shooting 38's for plinking is fun and cheaper then 357's.
  5. Here is a great article on what you're talking about. I followed these instructions without incident. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63658 Try here for the bars: http://www.powersportjunkie.com/FLANDERS-650-08783-p/pu-0601-0377.htm
  6. Kyle: Have you drilled out the inner baffles. I drilled out the front and rear, leaving the middle baffle and found the sound to be about right.
  7. Here is a link to a nice article about oil filters. They cut open just about every filter out there, so you can see the difference. I prefer the HiFlo. http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/index.shtml

    Avon Venom

I buy my tires from southwest moto tires...great prices and I got free shipping. I just ordered a front about 3 weeks ago. http://www.swmototires.com/Avon-AM41AM42-VENOM-CRUISERCUSTOM-REPLACEMENT-TIRES-detail.htm?productId=7851553&pos=0
  9. Can't provide proof of engine failure because of Fram, but if you'll look at the construction of a Fram compared to others....well I wonder why you'd want to use them. I prefer Hi-Flow and been using them for years. But to each there own........ http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/index.shtml
  10. Check this web site out......it's the recommendations from the manufacture. http://www.avonmoto.com/tech/tire-pressure-guidelines
  11. The noise is the very reason I switched to Avon, no more noise and I think the Avons perform better.
  12. Here is an article that examines oil filters, I found it to be very helpful in determining which filter I use on my bike. I use a HiFlo 303 filter and haven't had any problems. I buy my filters from PowerSports Superstore and the last batch was $4.95 ea plus shipping. http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/index.shtml
  13. Read this post.....I did the change over following these instructions without any problems. And no more back/neck pain....yahoo!!!! http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37770
