When you get right down to it, it really is a catch 22. If laws are too harsh innocent people get caught in the net. And if they are too lax criminals get away with doing what ever they feel like. Then of course there is the money factor. If you have lots of it you stand a good chance of getting off, even if you are guilty and if you have very little, you may not get off, even if you are innocent. Really makes you wonder where this world is headed.

Glad to hear conditions are improving Earl, That is good news indeed. Hopefully the surgery, if and when it comes to that will be a walk in the park.

I just read the post Earl and am very sorry to hear about Jean. Hopefully she wil pull through and be alright.

It was a pleasure to see both old and new faces. We even had a small American invasion, which was really nice to see. All in all a great way for Ventureriders to get together and roll in the New Year.

It actually may hurt more if you try to charge the battery out of the bike.........for example if while removing it from the bike it slips and falls on your foot

Before I got a smart charger I would connect the 2 amp charger to the bike and leave it on all winter. The charger itself was plugged into a wall timer and I set it to charge for one hour every day. I got 6 years out of that battery.

Ok!! Reservations have been made .... Carl must have been there before as they recomended the time be set for 6:15 pm. I made reservations for 25 so we should be in good shape but I can still increase the number if need be.

Your reservation time Carl is 5:55, that way when your the usual 5 min late you will actually be there for 6:00 PM I will toss in in some extra heads on the head count in case there are any last minute takers.

It seems there is a good amount of interest for the BURLINGTON ONTARIO M&E. So I will go ahead and make reservations. I am thinking 6:00 pm would be a good time but before I finalize the time I would like to know if this time is OK for all those coming. I don't want to make it too late as some members have a bit of distance to travel.

That is a different show and it used to take place in December at the Metro Toronto Convention centre. The North American International Motorcycle Super Show, still takes place January 3-5 at the International Centre Toronto. http://www.motorcyclesupershow.ca/

I would say yes since the one I mentioned is in Toronto. I believe it is Toronto's biggest MC show of the year.
