Like a few others I had my suspicions, hoping all the while that I was wrong. I am extremely happy that the two of you, have decided to continue your life together. My wife and I ,many long years ago also hit a bad rough patch. But with faith caring and a whole lot of give and take we managed to save our marriage. It didn't happen overnight and sometimes the road felt like a long rough ride but we got through it. This year we will be celebrating 37 years of marriage and not once have I regretted putting forth the effort we put in to saving it. Here is to a happy future together for both of you. And my the Lord bless you both with eternal happiness and strength.

Not to rain on you. But a note of caution here is that there is no way of knowing were they end up when they die and a pet dog or cat can get seriously sick if they get hold of one. My Dogs will eat a squirrel, dead or fresh caught if they get hold of one.

The only reason she sleeps so well back there is because she dead tired and worn out from harassing all the male members when she is off the bike.

Well you did say you just learned-----You did not say you figured it out for yourself.

For us its the black ones. Red squirrls in my area are extremely rare.

First of all I like squirrels. I feed them all the time. Even raised a young baby orphan in the house which loved to ride around on my shoulder as I walked around the house. But when I did my addition a family nicely took up residence in my attic (not related to my youngster). I even found a HOME SWEET HOME sign hanging on the wall when I went up to move them out:rotfl: Using a firearm even a BB gun in a residential area is illegal here so I resorted to a sling shot using 3/8" dia steel balls I salvaged from old ball bearings. At first I was a pretty bad shot but boy did I get good in a very short time. I think one squirrel sitting on the ridge of my roof even sat there and laughed at me as My first two shots sailed by harmlessly. Not so when he toppled over with the third shot and landed dead on the other side of my house. By the way I still feed them and love to feed them as long as they stay out of my attic. In future issues, Raccoons in the garage, skunks under the shed, possums under the porch and that darn neighbours cat that sleeps on my motorcycle under the cover leaving fine scratches in my paint.

:sign yeah that:Also sells under the name Plastex depending on the supplier but they are the same product and work excellent. I rebuilt my 89 with it in 2008 and 6 years /30,000 km later it is still is in great shape. See the thread below post #1 shows finished bike. Post #15 shows smashed up bike and some of the Plastex/PlastiFix repair work. Note the white tabs formed purely of white Plastex/PlastiFix using the included mold block. Also good for reattaching or forming pegs. When reattaching fill the entire void as Bobby suggested. I also embedded fiberglass drywall tape or fiberglass cloth wherever I could to reinforce the repairs. The stuff sands out silk smooth after a 20 - 60 minute cure time (no filler putty needed) and if you have any little pit marks just add more and re-sand. One last note the product does not act as a glue but actually welds the plastic together. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=28291

Seems like a bit of a distraction to me. Something I prefer not to have.

The problem with these, specially if you use a cheep pair of crimping pliers is the risk of puncturing the heat shrink insulation during assembly. I have lost count of the number of times I have seen connections on vehicles turn green and fall apart because of this. Also when ever I am forced to use one butt connector to join three wires I use small zip ties around the pair that go into one end of the connector just past/outside the heat shrink to eliminate any chance of wire strain pulling the pair apart allowing an opening to form were the pair enter the heat shrink so that moisture and road salt cannot enter (a major problem in snow belt areas). IMHO there is no substitute for good High quality crimpers. You pay a bit extra for them but using those cheep stamped steel crimpers is just inviting problems.
-
I always use the bare terminal and butt connectors combined with heat shrink tubing. Use a good heavy duty stake type crimper for best results. Soldering is good but only effective when terminals and wire are new and clean. Solder.will not bond properly with tarnished copper.

I first learned this while burnishing in a set of rear brake pads with the bike on the kick stand Also when you tightened the bolts did you draw them in evenly in a staggered / crisscross pattern in stages or did you just run them up in circular pattern. You should always use a staggered pattern to avoid getting it cockeyed or distorted.

I first discovered this when burnishing in a set of brake pads with the bike on the stand Also when you tightened the bolts did you tighten them in stages in a staggered pattern or did you just run them up tight in circular pattern, one after the other. It is always best to tighten in stages in a staggered pattern. the first course being to just bottom all bolts lightly snug. This helps prevent getting the plate cockeyed.
