  1. Back in the Nineties, Rick Butler and Dave Henderson had a company called Tri-Star Industries, in Dallas, TX that produced and sold various accessories for the first Gen Venture. Quote from Rick's 1993 ad: "Our Own Enlarged Light Tinted Windshields, Std. 26"H X 30"W, or Your Height.....$99.95"

  3. Granted it is a custom. But 'custom' what?

  5. :sign yeah that:Yeah, I hate when that happens. I start going into withdrawal.
  6. Either you guys are tired of this game or my entry is really difficult. If it is the latter, here's some hints: Built by Jim Davis. The engine is a Rotax V-twin. A 250mm section width Avon Venom is on the front.
  7. I don't own a Fuzeblock FZ-1, but looking at the dimensions of the block, it appears that it would fit on top of the air box.
  8. I guess Maybeline is away for awhile, so I'll throw another out there for y'all:

  11. You don't like those Ventures much do you, Junior.
  12. That is a clown?.... I would hesitate to hire him for a little one's birthday party.
  13. Spot on, Mabeline. Do you have a bike for us to guess? http://www.mondialmotors.it/element/PIEGA2%281024x768%29.jpg
  14. All True. But the aftermarket slip-on mufflers, from MAC for instance, will bolt on to either version, MKI or MKII.
  15. It is an aftermarket fuel pump.
  16. Purty. It's been more than Twenty-fours hours since I posted this; does that mean y'all need a hint? OK, Ferrari didn't make it.
  17. This was the "Goose's" bike, Kwaka, from Mad Max movie. Circa 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 Replica Kwaka. http://data.motor-talk.de/data/galleries/0/179/200/38651897/-s-bike-la-parisienne-fairing-7137945745463979208.jpghttp://www.madmaxmovies.com/cars/madmax/Goose/ClaremontSt.jpg Heiteres Teileraten Z 1000
  18. OK, this one is no April Fool joke.
  19. Wow! No wonder why I couldn't find the bike when searching for the Mission R. Kawasaki electric, huh? HaHa! April Fool!
  20. Well, it is immediately recognizable as a Mission R electric motorcycle. But I can't find that exact color scheme. Someone has Photoshopped all things that were gold and changed those gold items to green and added a speaker to the end of the electric motor. http://wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Mission-R.jpg
  21. Didn't we just do this one? 2010 Roehr 1250SC http://www.motorvision.de/images/2/3/7/4/7/768x512+768x432+-0x-0+1024/roehr-ps-elektro.jpg
  22. It matters little what the wattage rating of the resistor is; the current draw is minimal, so virtually any readily available wattage resistor is appropriate. It is the resistance value that is important. Historically, 2.2K (2200) ohm has been the recommendation, although there is at least one electrical expert who maintains that one should use closer to 20K ohm for optimum protection of the CMS.
