  1. All True. But the aftermarket slip-on mufflers, from MAC for instance, will bolt on to either version, MKI or MKII.
  2. It is an aftermarket fuel pump.
  3. Purty. It's been more than Twenty-fours hours since I posted this; does that mean y'all need a hint? OK, Ferrari didn't make it.
  4. This was the "Goose's" bike, Kwaka, from Mad Max movie. Circa 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 Replica Kwaka. http://data.motor-talk.de/data/galleries/0/179/200/38651897/-s-bike-la-parisienne-fairing-7137945745463979208.jpghttp://www.madmaxmovies.com/cars/madmax/Goose/ClaremontSt.jpg Heiteres Teileraten Z 1000
  5. OK, this one is no April Fool joke.
  6. Wow! No wonder why I couldn't find the bike when searching for the Mission R. Kawasaki electric, huh? HaHa! April Fool!
  7. Well, it is immediately recognizable as a Mission R electric motorcycle. But I can't find that exact color scheme. Someone has Photoshopped all things that were gold and changed those gold items to green and added a speaker to the end of the electric motor. http://wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Mission-R.jpg
  8. Didn't we just do this one? 2010 Roehr 1250SC http://www.motorvision.de/images/2/3/7/4/7/768x512+768x432+-0x-0+1024/roehr-ps-elektro.jpg
  9. It matters little what the wattage rating of the resistor is; the current draw is minimal, so virtually any readily available wattage resistor is appropriate. It is the resistance value that is important. Historically, 2.2K (2200) ohm has been the recommendation, although there is at least one electrical expert who maintains that one should use closer to 20K ohm for optimum protection of the CMS.
  10. Nuke the gay baby whales. Are we done now?
  11. Hey Squidley, look what I found:
  12. 1980 Vetter Mystery Ship Turbo (Kawasaki KZ1000) http://raresportbikesforsale.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/vetter-right-600x450.jpg Craig Vetter (yes, that Vetter) wanted to produce his version of a racing motorcycle. The Mystery Ship was the result. 200 were planned but 0nly 10 were built due to Vetter being involved in a hang gliding accident.
  13. Yes, to undercutting the engagement dogs, IF the dogs are not rounded too much. As Goose says, though, the worn thrust washer is the cause of popping out of second. The worn thrush washer allows the second gear to move laterally away from its mate, until the engagement dogs can't get a grip. Each time that happens the dog wears off the corner some more. So, you MAY be able to reuse the second gear, depending on the amount of wear on the dogs. Undercutting will help, but it is not what is needed to FIX the problem. The shift fork sometimes gets bent when second gear pops out, especially if the rider is using the gear shift lever to try and hold the second gear in engagement. Some folks have straightened a slightly bent shift fork, but there are no guarantees.
  14. Might be tough to find, since the engine and chassis are mostly hidden. I'm sure with sufficient 'therapeutic' searching, you can do it.
  15. 1894 Hildebrand & Wolfmuller Reproduction "The first ever self-powered two-wheeled vehicle that reached series production is the Hildebrand & Wolfmuller in 1894. One ‘barn find’ example has recently been sold at a Bonhams auction at The International Classic MotorCycle Show to a private collector in Germany for an above-estimate £86,200. The vehicle, the first to which the name ‘motorcycle’ (motorrad in German) was ever applied, had been in the ownership of the vendor’s family http://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/news/first-series-production-motorcycle-sold-for-86-200-19859_2.jpg http://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/news/first-series-production-motorcycle-sold-for-86-200-19859_1.jpg
  16. Actually, it is a 1965 Ducati Mach1, thus my reference "it is not a Kawasaki" http://www.philaphoto.com/imageLibrary/albums/userpics/10001/PA-2010Trip250m1-002.jpg
  17. An old red one. And no, it is not a Kawasaki.

  19. Don't worry about trying to guess this bike. It was so eye catching, that I had to post it up for a 'Good Morning laugh out loud'. http://www.evilmilk.com/galleries/cool-bikes/cool-motorcycles-2.jpghttp://www.sportbikes.net/forums/attachments/general-sportbikes/193800d1252340220-sportbike-riders-getting-laid-women-pickup600xi8ya2-u.jpg
