Welcome to the mad house and you are definitely in the right place to talk about Ventures. Most people shorten the name of the bike from Royal Star Venture to just Venture so it's actually one in the same. 99 to 2013 are second generations the first gens were more straight tourer than cruiser. These bikes are rock solid expect to get 150K or more out of them, they are easy to work on and with this forums help you can do anything you want to do to the bike. I actually play tapes in my tape deck but several members have removed the cassette deck and made it a storage pocket, you can find out how to do that here also. There is an Aux jack you can hook your phone or mp3 player up to. Hope you stick around it will be the best 12 bucks you ever spent.

Everyone at work that travels said they never bother with it, but one suggested you call a travel agent and ask. I had not even thought of asking your own insurance agent. Here is a link to my travel agent if your insurance agent does not pan out.

I was expecting something totally different from the way I read the tittle of this thread. I will ask have they improved the room for the passenger? All the Harleys we looked at last year were really cramped?

Tool kit, first aid kit, rain gear, clothes and cpap but that was before I started pullimg a trailer.

I have never done it on one of these engines but looking at the service manual it does not look too difficult just involved.

I personally would replace the bucket, it may be fine but I would not want to take the risk.
