  1. That was quick ! Glad to hear they're going to take care of you. I've had 4 set of Avons and have never encountered the cracking issue.
  2. I Won second quarter square, paid for the night + , almost got the third.... who won ? Not that I care.... Looked like Lions in Denver clothing to me...
  3. Pretty much. Only gave him $100 for all of it. Just the parts I wanted for my tractor would have cost me over $600 and the parts I got off it were almost like new. As a bonus there's enough parts I didn't use and will sell off, that I should make a profit when all is said and done.
  4. Talk about riding off into the sunset! Good for him.
  5. That's a Fact. I just bought an old Gravely 4 wheel tractor for parts, the PO had just got done rebuilding the engine and didn't correctly install the spur gear on the crank, the result was the spur gear moving and letting the woodruff key drop into the trans and lodging itself between 2 straight cut gears and cracking the trans case like a walnut. Bad for him, good for me as I got lots of good parts for cheap. Another plus to that find was the guy used to own a RSV and threw in a Yamaha trunk rack bag and saddlebag liners on the deal
  6. Right bag has foul weather gear, extra gloves and glasses. Left bag has essential tools pouch, extra ammo, flag&pole for PGR missions. Top trunk has maps and a case for misc. electronics. Everything else goes in the trailer.
  7. Must admit, that thought did cross my mind too.
  8. Way faster than a 1st Gen http://www.youtube.com/embed/doN4t5NKW-k
  9. I think you need to have your head up your a$$ in order to follow the instructions. Many people would have no problem completing the task!
  10. HERE is a link that gets you down to the trees. HERE is a drawing of the steering head assembly.
  11. I've had to ride in those conditions a few times, it's not fun but is doable. Just take your time and go real slow around the corners, whatever you do, stay off the front brake.
  12. Welcome to the forum. For starters, take a look at THIS Thread, it will answer many of your questions.
  13. I was/am a Leon Russell fan. I did not know that's the origin of Delta Lady. I think the best performance of the Grammy's was Pink, again.
  14. Chuck, so sorry to here of your brothers situation. Praying for his recovery and your strength.
  15. Wanted too, but chrome and salt do not mix well.
  16. Very encouraging news. With his will to improve I'm sure things will keep getting better.
  17. We figure it was because the 2 wheeled riders are afraid of the snow. Trike riders rock! We had a good time with good friends!
  18. Heading out now see y'all about 5:30
  19. Chaps were never meant as crash protection, they are for wind/cool weather protection.
  20. Tried her chap pack method several times, each time her method finished as a much larger bundle than the old fold and roll method, think I'll stick with my way.
  21. Maybe you could trade her for some Rum Balls !
  22. Why not just take the whole mount off, camera and all when you want it out of sight? Doing so removes any evidence of a device possibly being stored in your car. Flip the suction lever and go.
  23. Dropping like fly's, I guess our Canadian friends can't drive in the snow . Since there won't be anyone crossing the border to join us, maybe we should move the meet to this side of the lake, it would cut off a good chunk of the drive time. Mt Clemens, Chesterfield, Sterling Heights or something. What y'all think?
