    We've been riding here in GA for about 3 weekends now...it's awesome. Went a couple hundred miles on Sat...I'm a bit cooked from standing in the sun, with sunscreen on.

    I'll have to look, but I think we have the stock TCI that came with the bike via the PO, I have no idea if it works or how well it works, but I'll track it down in the garage later today and it's yours for the shipping cost. I'd suggest ordering the one dingy offers ASAP because it's programmable via a laptop. I'll let you know when I find it and get it boxed up, soonest it will be out the door is Monday.

    Mike graduates college next month, May 9th with 2 associates degrees, Computer Networking and Computer Network Engineering (Cisco based). I would like to invite everyone to come and show their support when he walks. So far I'm the only planned guest he has. There are no tickets needed to attend. Parking is free. Graduation starts promply @ 7pm. Please help me celebrate this huge accomplishment. Feel free to Congratulate him as well I realize not everyone can make it.     Currently those switches don't work, neither do the horns. the switches ran the radar detector the PO kept as well as some lights and a couple of other things I'm sure I'm forgetting atm. The horns sadly shorted out a while back leaving my husband very confused see: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=80696 We have replacement horns (2nd gen) Thank you Walter!) to replace the air horns that shorted. I have no idea what Mike plans to do with those switches other than maybe some future led effects lighting, but that's down the road a while. Before we start doing roadtrips this yr I want intercom working at least 4-5 hrs of pointing turn here or veer there will get old fast...

    What do I need for headsets, cables running to the hookups and the cable the hooks to the underside of the cb for the driver's headset. All assistance is needed. Thanks! Tricia

    Everything needs a good cleaning! When I told Mike yesterday to leave the cb parts and radio parts with me today he glared and gave me the 20 thousand reasons why not, including the whine about but but I'm going to ride tomorrow! Oh well, maybe this weekend. And yes, the PO did move everything around to suit him.

    It was easier to buy that, the cruise control cable (it's broken too) and master cylinder together. The clutch has felt spongy since Mike bought the bike last yr. He's flushed and put new fluid in 2x (even had help once) and it got no better. I'm just trying get everything done before the road trip. Right now, staying local and having an issue means I get a friend with a trailer if he breaks down. If there's another idea I'm all ears. Tricia

    Is there a write up somewhere of how to replace the master cylinder and clutch handle? The handle on Mike's bike has too much play up and down and really needs replacing. I found everything on pinwall but have yet to find the elusive write up on doing the replacement. Really want to get this done before we go to B2Mom and B2Dad's next month. Thanks in advance!

    Mike has yet to use the cb on the bike since buying it last yr. On trips (when we get to that point) he'd use it, right now the cb doesn't work right.(constantly scans the channels without stopping) The radio works but the speakers need replacing. It would be really nice to have communications again between us, especially on trips. For his benefit I would like a clean look to all the electronics he'd access. The cassette was already removed by the PO. I'm just trying to find an elegant option to upgrade the existing systems for him. (Is that even possible?) lol

    I have 3 related questions to this thread. 1. where to get good quality replacement speakers and what size? 2 A good replacement marine grade cb (Mike wants bluetooth capabilities too) that will fit in the precut hole on the bike. If it exists. 3. Marine am/fm radio with bluetooth, (or a cb that does both radio and cb with intercom) I'm just trying to source ideas now before the end of fall.

    I need both front rotors, I searched the site trying to find part numbers, but came up empty, and I realize the rotors are expensive and used would be ok on the short term, but Mike will use this as the commuter to and from work as weather allows. I don't want to be the one to ground him from the bike til its fixed, but I may...

    Since Mike has warped rotors too I've been trying to find part numbers for these so maybe I can order him the front set before riding season kicks into high gear and he tries daily riding to and from work. Anyone want to share the part numbers and a probable best place to get these?

    I still dunno who all is coming tomorrow. I know weather is affecting turn out. Howevermy neighbor just walked over to inform me his house was broken into today while I was home cleaning.
