I give up after 3 wks of fighting this. So asking for help. Rode to wal-mart came out hit the starter button ,tack was jumping around lights on instrument cluster went dead. 2 nice men push started the bike got home and it has sat scents. Charge the battery , clean all ground connection. This is were it gets weird. I put the key in and 5-10 sec later the lights on cluster slowly come on how the battery is showing 12.5-12.7 on meter. I hear clicking on starter. I can turn the key off then turn it back on and it will show nothing touch the starter button and the lights come on. Turn it off back on and lights on cluster the tail lights on but NO headlight. Tried when the cluster is lit to jump from battery + to starter + and lights on cluster go out. Tried jumping across starter relay nothing. I don't know many people down here don't have a trailier.......HELP! My bike is a 87 Royal

Finally got it done ! what a job as I'm NO Mac but here a Hose # for the hose from front cyl to joint Gates 28475. It had to cut one end , the long end off the 90 you cut off about 4" and the other end maybe 1" worked great

OK ! this is the hose that leaves Front Cylinder and goes to Joint then there one that leaves there and goes to Rear Cylinder........the front one the one I got to replace and it was no fun getting to it either

Have a huge leak on Yahama Part # 26H-12578-00-00 . What is everyone doing about replacing bad hose? I like to replace at once if possible Have also had problem with over heating, going to replace Thermostat when Into this where this hose contact right side there is what they call a Joint Yamaha # 1NL-12479-01-00 it has 3 wires to it from fan could this thing be causing it to hot? the fan work but does not come on, something not telling it to work I appreciate all help

I know its been awhile scent post but,l have finally got up the guts to do this !! I was wondering if Gary you could show how you cut out were the plexiglass ? I mean what plastic you cut out ?

I been reading all the earlier post are audio and still confused My cass does not work, radio only on AM and CB dead dont care about CB I would like to do is pull all out.. amp tuner everything but, all those wires what do i do what them and which wires do i use? What is everyone making to fill the big hole if you pull everything out that looks nice? I like listening to FM and i guess i had to be able to down some music mp3 or ipod (haven't done that yet) What a good system to put in? and would i need a amp? My bike the only thing keeping me from a padded room and some music would really help This is 1st post hope it get to the right place. Thanks for any help and pictures would be great
