  1. A worthy endeavor. Good Luck!
  2. Nice place, Freebird! That ain't no pond, that's a lake! I keep telling Juggler that we need to paint a big smiley face on our roof. Juggler is more of an entrepreneur and thinks we should rent out the roof as advertising space.
  3. I do most of the grocery shopping and it's been absolutely PAINFUL lately. I wince every time I look at the price of milk. Milk ran at $2.44 a gallon for YEARS. Now I see it at $3.09, $3.49, and at the smaller stores--$5 or more. Then lets talk about where it really HURTS--ICE CREAM!!!!!! It isn't just milk, it's ALL dairy. Most ice cream has jumped $2 in price as well. Yogurt has jumped almost a dollar.
  4. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-7QNvIxQTs]YouTube - Peterbilt Trike[/ame] Jesse James may not have a good word to say about trikes, but he sure looks happy on this one that he built! I would love to take this ride for a spin!
  5. Bravo, Sherry and Family!!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  6. Here is a picture of Sherry and Tom that Sherry has posted on another site. (I hope you don't mind, Sherry)
  7. Oh Sherry! Oh Sherry! There are no words.
  8. But this news piece isn't talking about dumb kids on crotch rockets. It's wagging it's cautionary finger specifically at men over 50 to remember that "it's only a movie" and "don't try this at home." It's just a very patronizing news piece that thinks that "older" people can't distinguish between fantasy and reality. It really has nothing to do with the benefits of rider safety.
  9. More bikers are killed by inattentive drivers than inattentive bikers.
  10. The roadrash picts are at her myspace website: http://www.myspace.com/brit2morrow
  11. I'm sorry you lost your friend....and to such a heart-breaking disease. Take care.

    My Dad

My dad has been gone for 10 years today. I still miss him very much. One of my fondest memories is of him teaching me how to ride a bicycle without the use of training wheels. This was no small task, since the only way I knew how to balance was to ride really fast. Thank goodness dad was big into jogging at the time! Here are some pictures: --Dad with one of his many fancy cars over the years. He loved his cars! --Me and dad sharing an apple. --Mom and dad being goofy for the camera.
