  1. That is incredible! 5 years to build... the craftmanship is unbelievable... as said before the guy is definately talented...
  2. That was nicely done....
  3. I've got a compond, it's a Bowtec Extreeme VFT, 70# pull with mechanical tips, it's good for about 40-50 yrds.... Have shot many a deer with it and agree it is unquestonably a lot harder to shoot game with it, than with a rifle. You not only have to raise the bow, but also pull it back, all the while not beeing seen. definately kicks the adrenelin in... If your hitting a soda can everytime at 80 yrds. your definately a better archer than I... and your The Man!
  4. Sounds good....
  5. Actually I did get it... I was trying to joke around with you. My mistake.
  6. In that case i'm not gonna apologize for that post i just made...
  7. Yeah right ... Glad to see your planning ahead. I guess that ammo really is getting scarce.... Go with a good cross bow and quailty scope... and stock up on bolts that don't have flourescent quills before theres a run on em! http://www.longrangehunting.com/articles/pse-tac-15-15i-10-10i-crossbow-review-1.php
  8. I'm about 10 miles away from him. If he dosen't respond to this thread, I'll personally go pound on his door........LOL
  9. I've been tryin for awhile for someone to send me their crapped out shock on a second gen. Note: Contrary to belief, a 2nd gen will bottom out when hitting a 1 inch pot hole at 35 mph with 0 psi in rear shock. Being height challenged (29" inseam 223 lbs.) I didn't want to raise the rear of the bike by adding pressure. Although, it would seem, I must, to avoid bottoming out. I haven't bottomed out since adding 30 psi and it is holding steady.
  10. Glad to hear your ok. Those older tube types require converters to use, so they are about usless, unless of course you need a Really Big paper weight..LOL When they take a hit, the tubes are under vacum and normally implode. the glass hits the back of the tube and glass flys everywhere.... We use to shoot them at the dump when i was younger...
  11. if your getting rid of a leaking 2nd gen shock pm me.
  12. Besides the chrome plating being piss poor, is the seal and dust seal replaceable? If this shock can be torn apart there is a place down the road that specializes in hydraulics. I have even had bent hydraulic rams fabricated and chrome plated, on my backhoe for a fraction of the cost mother deere would have wanted.
  13. Believe mixing the seafoam with gas like you stated works a whole lot better than pure seafoam. I had let my Seadoo RXP sit for 14 mos or so and dumped a can of seafoam in a relatively empty tank.... after cranking a few times there was a loud POW!... I was lucky, Didn't really hurt anything but blew clamped rubber boot off of the exhaust that is expelled under water...LOL Only thing I'd add to your techique is to drain each carb once again before you try to start. No use to pump that dirty concoction into the heads... Then again what do i know ...
  14. 120 volts is much more dependable... literally infinite supply... From the movie "Taken"
  15. That was SWeeT! Brings back memmories of the friends and I four wheeling at Hatfield and Mccoy trail system!
  16. Happy Birthday youngster!
  17. Not to hijack the thread or anything like that... but... I just need to know... Are you guys running antique tags on these bikes? 85,86,87,88.... Sounds like a johnny Cash song... DanG!

  21. Wait till she goes shopping , then call your brother-in law... that would be plan A Plan B would go something like this: I can rent a trike in tampa for $500 a day... LOL You know her best, don't do anything that will get you in trouble.
  22. If your under fluorescent or other man made lighting, it will definately change the color. "Daylight" bulbs work the best. Had a 65 mustang I restored "poppy Red". In the garage it looked orange, but in the direct sunlight...SWEEET!
  23. We had a member "Beer"? that use to make em. Does he still? although $60 for bestums isn't bad...
