Royal Star Tour Deluxe - RIP... Venture - does not appear look good for the V4 set. Sorry, but a cheesy new paint scheme does not a new model make. Depressing and frustrating. I have been looking to trade my RSTD for the full size scooter for three years now but have not seen a compelling reason given the length of time the current version has been on the market. There is still an 08 in my local dealer (listed at $14,500 if anyone is interested!). The only thing I can think is that the Star boys really got a good deal on all those obsolete cassette decks. I'd love to see the demographic on big touring bikes. Do you think that Yamaha is loosing market share to the other manufacturers and to save cash are consolidating their brand offerings? The web is full of complaints about outdated technology/features on the RSV, so the company has to know it and thus must have a reason to ignore it. Maybe an 1800 RSV is out there somewhere, but it does not seem likely to come anytime soon.

I am looking to install a LED integraded license plate frame and a brake light flasher. Both are from Signal Dynamics. The installation looks pretty straight forward. Any "watch outs" before I do?
