  1. Very interesting AND a GREAT way to start the day !!
  2. Thanks Dave - I'll look around my Zumo, it evidently has stuff I don't know about. ie: I've had a Blackberry for over a year and just found a bunch of features that I didn't know existed. Just too busy to stop and explore
  3. Wayne - I see you are going to Big Toms next week. Linda and I will be there Friday, we're staying at the Microtel and bringing my laptop - can I buy you a beer. My laptop has mac and windows XP - should I load Road Trip on it before I leave ? Dick
  4. wouldn't do a bit of good - we all knows he's too far gone. ( but I wouldn't have it any other way )
  5. Hi Monty - I wanted to come down to Ashville but just couldn't work it in this time. Thumb still thumping but hoping it quits soon
  6. A shot of silicone spray or WD 40 every once in a while does wonders. It works great on my travel trailer, can't se it hurting a smaller version
  7. Hi Squidley - I'm guessing all is well with you and yours ?
  8. Good Morning !
  9. I want to design a route then load it to my Zumo 550 - problem is I can't find anything/information on how to do it. Help Please
  10. Big Tom - you can throw about half of those money throwing icons away - it doesn't cost that much, you'd be really surprised
  11. It looks like you can at least walk thru your shop. My work area is the larger side of a 2 car garage - gets tight every once in a while.
  12. not sure what P.T.S.D. is but if it's anything like a ball bat OUCH
  13. more or less - I fashioned it after an antique cupboard we have, several differences tho - one being that the original doesn't have glass but it does have sculptured top. Also some dimensions are slightly smaller, makes it more suitable in most homes. I just enjoy creating -
  14. Darrin - i'ma gonna drive upa there ana talka you :rotfl:
  15. Had I known you were so close, we could have shared a hot dog - I'll know the next time - will give you a call when we go that way again
  16. My son goes down to the wilderness cause he can get a LOOOONG canoe trip and be back home. We took our bike there once, hated the gravel and dust but somewhere we found hardtop and ended up waaaaay south of loudenville. Wasn't worried tho - we still had 1/4 tank of gas.
  17. Please do - I like to see others work. helps me improve, 'cause I'm strictly amateur
  18. I was working on when I somehow lost concentration and darn near lost my thumb. I finally finished construction today, decided not to finish it - it a lot easier to stain, seal and finish before putting the pieces together. It's all poplar wood, even the side and back panels. I re-saw 3/4" boards up to 8" wide to make the panels. I definitely NOT a fan of fiber board -
  19. Wife and I went camping last week end at Arrow Point campground in Loudenville Ohio. The campground is on the Mohican river and is locally famous for it's canoeing. We were lucky enough to get a river side site and as witness by the pictures below we had to contend with traffic all week end. At times it was quite bothersome ( 1st 3 pics ) and other times it became entertaining ( pic 4 ) Then there was the guy that thought his Kayak was better suited for the hillside and shale ( pic 5 ) Guess we know who won that fight. We watched him scraping shale off himself for 10 minutes before he grabbed his beer and left. We didn't take our bike because of my forked thumb but that didn't stop the ribeye steaks Friday evening over a fire and Johnsonville brats for Saturday evening. I believe there was some Ultra and Ravens Glen Pinot Grigio wine consumed, not positive, week end was a little fuzzy (see pics 1,2 & 3 ) It's really odd how a Michelob ultra and a slap upside your head keeps eyes in wonderment
  20. Fawcett Stadium, right next to the Hall of Fame. Just got back home - pretty exciting in that I got to see Lynn Swann, Joe Gibbs, Franco Harris within a few feet as they went by. geeeezz, I could go on and on. Probably won't do it again, but glad I finally went.
  21. I've lived in the Canton Ohio area for most of my life but this year will be my first time to watch the parade live. We have grandstand seating at the American Legion just about midway on the parade route, should be a fun day. Not going to the enshrinement, way too busy for me, not to mention we wouldn't be able to get within earshot of the proceedings.
  22. Too many calories in the ice cream, I'll just have the eye candy
  23. :clap2::clap2:
  24. Oh man, I've hit it as many times as I want to - don't think I'll get used to it - makes me jump like somebody hit me with a ball bat. Actually, anybody that has grabbed a live 120v live wire knows what I'm talking about, difference is this lingers a lot longer that 120volts. Don't ask me how I know - You're right, need to ride, not easy walking past the bike and not getting on -
  25. Freebird - I'm at a loss I just can't think of anything comforting to say except that prayers for recovery over this latest setback are sent your way.
