This is a discussion that has been going on for many years but new options are always welcome. I have tried 3 or 4 different kinds of speakers and a small amp. None gave me the result that I was looking for. I now use the Edsets headsets but don't use the helmet speakers at all. They have a jack to plug in earbuds and that's what my wife and I use. We put the earbuds in our ears, put on our helmets and enjoy fantastic music. Because they plug right into the Edset module, they sell work for intercom, CB, etc. Love it.

You might check with Rick Butler about lowering the stock seat. I know he has done a few of them and it will be a LOT less money.

OK...I understand what you are saying and I think that you are probably right. Mine too will set at the speed that I tap it at if I do what you say. It will drop and then come back up or I can hold the throttle until it comes back. No argument. It also makes sense that it should work that way as it will not build the necessary vacuum instantaneously. I guess I just find it easy to do the two button thing and it sets there instantly. The only thing a little puzzling is that it takes literally a second, probably less, to do the two button combo and takes longer if I just press set and wait for it to catch up. Seems that either way should take about the same amount of time. Maybe I'm just remembering wrong. I'll have to do some experimenting the next time I ride.

OK...I substituted the one that Flyinfool corrected. It should work for everybody now. Though I had to clear my cookies first. You may not need to.

It is the same as the old one unless you have it set differently. Go to "settings" at the upper right...find "general settings" in the left menu. Scroll down and try selecting "Enhanced Attachment Uploading off". That should make it exactly as it was before.

I heard there was a rally this weekend but we have to leave early Saturday. I have to be back to work on Monday.

You can still upload multiple pictures at a time just like you did before. Just "manage attachments" and pick the ones you want to upload. As for the thumbnails, I can change it back to thumbnails if people prefer them.

Bad backfiring just isn't normal. I don't think that it is a problem on most bikes that are not modified in one way or another. I know you have checked a lot of things but if it's happening on your bike but not on others that are set up the same way, there is something that you haven't found yet.

Well, if I increase dues to 3500.00 per year, that would cover it. ASSUMING that none of you quit on me.

I owned two of those Spitfires back in the late 80's. Bought them both at the same time. One had a hole in the block and the other had a bad leaf string on the rear. Got them both going again and planned to keep one but ended up selling them both. They were fun cars. I don't remember the years but I THINK that one was a '79 and the other maybe a '78. I know they were a year apart. A young lady came and looked at them and decided that she wanted the red one and I was glad because I liked the white one. Then she could get the money and I sold it to somebody else. She later came up with the money and came back and talked me into selling her the other one.

What forums are added will be decided by the majority of the members. Any member can block any forum that they wish in their settings. If you block a forum, it will be like it never existed for you. It will certainly not be decided by insults and profanity. I have deleted one post here. I sincerely hope I won't be pushed to do more.

I don't even know where I am. When I made the hotel reservation, I'm sure that it said Lake Quachita but I just looked and apparently we on on Lake Hamilton. They appear to be connected but with a dam in the way. We'll stay here and probably just run around on Lake Hamilton while my son and granddaughters are hear this weekend but will trailer up to Quachita during the week. Really want to explore that lake.

We'll be here until a week from tomorrow. This weekend is full though because my son will be here with the granddaughters. They are leaving on Monday. I've been to Hot Springs before and love it. Being from Texas, it was a short trip before we moved to Ohio. We just got checked into our hotel room. My son is supposed to be here around noon tomorrow and we'll put the Waverunners in and do some exploring. Never been on the lake here before. Here's a picture from our hotel room balcony.
