  1. LOL...don't hurt yourself there Dan. It actually WAS missing. Somehow it got messed up and I had to put it back.
  2. OHHH...THAT. Yea...it's still there. Right beside "Contribution Actions". It's called "My Search Links" Uh yea...it's ALWAYS been there. It didn't ACCIDENTLY get turned off for a few days...no way that I could EVER have done that.
  3. OK folks, I THINK I have this issue resolved so now you can please let me know if you see the errors again.
  4. I have been thinking of this for a while but don't know if there would be any interest. Though this site is primarily about our motorcycles, we have a huge wealth of knowledge among the members here. There are often times that people ask about everything from home appliances, A/C, everything you can think of. I've thought about creating a new area called product recommendations or something like that. Maybe sub-categories within it for Cars/Trucks, Major Appliances, Small Appliances, Computers, Phones, whatever. I thought about this again last weekend when I decided that it was time to buy a new electric razor. Mine was still working but was not holding a charge as long as it once did and was getting noisier all the time. Here's the thing though, it is 18 years old! I have owned a few electric razors over the years but they typically last maybe 3 years. The one that lasted all these years was a Panasonic. It gave the best shave and in 18 years I never replaced the blades, foil, battery or anything else. Guess what I replace it with? Of course another Panasonic. If it is half as good I will still be happy. So what do you think? Would such an area be useful or do we just use the Watering Hole for such things?
  5. I don't doubt you Dan but it must have been a long time ago. Nothing has changed in more than a year that I know of. The only way I know of from the header is to click on your name at the upper right of the screen. That will open your profile and there is a "My Activity" that shows your posts.
  6. Puc is right....the place you sign in goes away when you are signed in. As for finding your own posts, I'm not sure what you are talking about but one way is to just click on your name at the top left of any of your posts and there is a link there.
  7. All done.
  8. Those are FIRST GEN Royal Stars. Go back to your corner.
  9. Site will go down for a very short time while server is rebooted.
  10. WRONG...and I think you KNOW that. The 1996 was a Royal Star, NOT a Venture.
  11. That would be correct. Unless you get under the bike and blow from the other direction.
  12. Yep, they should fit. Any for '99 - latest model should fit.
  13. They will likely come and go while I try to figure it out. They don't actually hurt anything. I just saw them again. I thought I had removed it after I worked on it yesterday but went to find that I hadn't done so. They should be gone again for now but may occasionally show up as I find time to find the cause.
  14. That was because I have been trying to figure out the cause. You may see it from time to time while I work on it. May even take a few days.
  15. OK...I was finally able to replicate it. i THINK I found out that it was the Ebay listings at the bottom of that page that were causing the error. I have disabled that for now. Let me know if you see it again.
  16. LOL...I don't think that Judge Judy is on Fox News...Now Judge Jeneane maybe...or however you spell her name.
  17. It may or may not have been before the changes were made. Are you still getting it?
  18. I HOPE I have this issue resolved, as well as the one with rotating pictures in the classifieds. Let me know if you see any more.
  19. This issue has been resolved.
  20. You must be changing the wrong thing then. I just edited it for you and THINK I have it corrected. Let me know @ragtop69gs
  21. I just got that issue resolved. Pictures should rotate properly now. I don't know if it had anything to do with this other issue or not. We'll see.
  22. That is a problem with the colors you are using in your profile. You need to edit your profile and work on the colors.
  23. It sort of depends upon which shield it is. If it's the stock shield, you may actually be able to polish out any scratches and etc. with some like they use to restore headlight covers but it may actually ruin the shield. Stock shields have a film that will be removed if you polish out the scratches. That may make it OK for a while but it will scratch much easier and won't last long.
  24. Eagleeye tells me that at the top of the pages here he sees the following to errors. PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'xmlns' in ..../includes/class_rss_poster.php on line 208 PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'channel' in ..../includes/class_rss_poster.php on line 212 I've been unable to replicate this issue. He is using Firefox. I've used Firefox, Safari and IE and do not get any errors.
  25. They are using a different software. I have a couple of ideas but they require editing of the core software here and I hate doing that because it's hard to keep up with when doing updates. I'll see what else I can come up with.
