  1. What is the other forum? I can see what software they are using and then look to see if it is possible with what I'm using.
  2. Bob may be right but 80 PSI far exceeds the maximum pressure for the shock. I think they are rated at 57 PSI max. It may well be damaged.
  3. Some love it and some hate it but I liked it a lot. The Corbin seat will sit you lower and a bit further back from my experience. You should get to one of our meets somewhere and try to find a bike with one and sit on it.
  4. That link didn't work for some reason. I don't know if this is the one you are trying to link or not. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?939-Lowering-the-Front-End
  5. Look at the engine from below and you will see that it extends down below the frame. There is no way to lift the bike in a stable manner and also to not put pressure on the engine without the adapter or some type of spacers between the lift and the frame.
  6. I just looked and they all look to be rotated correctly so I assume you got it figured out.
  7. I was really looking forward to the West Virginia event but the date change got me. I can get off most anytime except when I have a trade show. That is a no miss with my company. When the date got changed, that was the conflict. That being said, I raised the issue last year that our International Rallies had become more poorly attended and asked if we should just concentrate on our regional events instead. The overall opinion was that you all wanted to continue having an International. I have always tried to respect your wishes here but in spite of everybody wanting to do it, not many people showed up. Now that is not to say that it was a failure because those who attended seemed to have a wonderful time and that is what it is all about. It cost money to do this though. Even though Chuck was very careful and did a great job, it still lost money this year. So I'm open to the discussion again. Do you want to do it? If so, do you want to host it? Where, when, etc.
  8. Haven't heard of it either. I don't want to hijack the thread but this is not the first time that I've heard somebody say that their bike wouldn't run over about 85. I will say again, there is something wrong with your bike if it won't hit well over triple digits.
  9. Glad to hear that they found a possible solution to your problem my friend. I hope that you start feeling better now. It does bother me a bit that you skipped Maintenance Day this year, there is not doubt that we could have taken care of all of that right here and for a lot less money. Try to make it next year and maybe we can tinker with the programming a bit and improve upon what they have done.
  10. We have actually had such an area for a long time. It's called Favorite Roads and Destinations.
  11. Honda did that already. They call it the Goldwing.
  12. I may have tried that one for the price but have always been very pleased with the SpeedoHealer. This one was a no brainer. Bought it from a member here for even less than that one and it was new and still in the package. Programming is very simple on either of them. Both are plug and play. If you buy the "Universal" model of the Speedohealer it requires a power wire to the battery. If you buy the correct one for the Yamaha V4 though, it does not.
  13. Interesting. I've seen this tried a few times but have not heard of one that truly works well. I don't remember all the why's or why nots but it will be interesting to see the final results of your setup. I know that there have been one or two others here who have tried other variations of this. Please keep us updated on how it works out.
  14. Yes, it works very well. I had one on the '99 and knew I would put one on this bike sooner or later. When I saw one for sale by a member here who had sold his bike, I jumped on it. Easy install. I actually had a gear indicator for the '99 but never installed it and never felt that I needed one. Gave it away at one of my Maintenance Days. I don't remember who got it.
  15. Haven't connected with Mike yet. Going to pick it up and try it out. Not sure I will like it though.
  16. Yep...almost done. I did finally install a SpeedoHealer recently. I'm pretty sure that is the last thing though.
  17. Great looking bike. I do like that wheel. May add one someday.
  18. Can't answer your question about the free Pandora being ad free. I haven't tried the free version in a long time. I do have an old Blackberry Bold that she has been using to stream Pandora but it was not the free version.
  19. Everything here is updated. Two 2 iPhone 6S updated to 10.0.2. iPad the same. MacBook Pro updated to Sierra which was also just released. I did buy my wife a new iPhone 7 yesterday. I'll probably get one later but the didn't have any of the 7 Pluses and I think I'm going that route this time. Not sure yet that I like the new home button but it's no big deal and I'm sure I'll get used to it. We elected to keep my wife's old 5 which is also updated to 10.0.2. . She streams Pandora pretty much all day and will now use it just on WiFi for that purpose. It is connected to a Bose speaker and sounds really good.
  20. My opinion, and take that for what it's worth, you should never touch the mixture screws unless you have a real reason too. The only way to truly set them properly is with an exhaust gas analyzer. Yes, you may get it close with other methods like listening to RPM drops, a colortune, etc. but none are as accurate as they should be.
  21. Which Hero 4? Silver, Black, etc? $399.00 may or may not have been a great price.
  22. Progressive is the brand name. You can find them a lot of places.
  23. Here you go. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?119676-Lower-wind-deflectors
  24. The come from the factory with rubber bumpers. Sometimes the brackets need to be bent back a bit so that they make contact. If they are missing, there are a number of ways to make new ones. I use rubber expanding nuts with the brass threaded inserts. Just put a screw through the hole and into the rubber expansion nut. I have pictures here somewhere if I can find them.
  25. Trial members can upload photos. It's probably a size issue. Max is 1024 x 768.
