  1. I think you did great on the video. Instructive and fun. As for the tool, looks like it works great and as you say, much easier than other methods that we try.
  2. Well I selected 1, 3, and 5. Some other selections may play a small part but I think that those three are the main culprits. As for as eating out is concerned, I travel a lot and eat out a lot but nothing compares to a good home cooked meal. My dining out is paid for by the company but I still prefer good home cooking. As for burgers, Whoppers are ok. No burger from McDonalds appeal to me. Hardies's has some that are decent. We don't have them here but Double cheeseburgers with Jalapeno's from Whataburger down south are about my favorite. Sonic double jalapeno cheeseburgers are a close second. All these new gourmet burger joints are just overpriced examples of the same fast food stuff. 5 Guys, In and Out, Backyard burgers, all are just overpriced versions of the same old thing. Red Robin has about as good as I've eaten away from home. All that being said, NONE of them even come remotely close to a hand patted thick fresh ground beef burger cooked on my own grill. Forget the cost. If you eat just to satisfy your hunger, then the others will do. If you eat to truly enjoy the experience, nothing compares to a home grilled burger.
  3. Sounds like an excellent deal to me. I would have bought it too.
  4. I'm not sure what you have us looking at. I don't know much about the Royal Stars but the pilot screws on the RSV are on the back side of the carbs. You have to reach through from the opposite side with a long screwdriver. If they haven't been removed, there will be a cap on them about the size of a pencil eraser. No tabs of any kind.
  5. Very strange looking. Don't know that I would want to own one but like you, would LOVE to ride one.
  6. OK...I've been reading all the comments on the new Wing and will have to say that I agree that it is a very nice bike. I think that Honda will do very well with it. That being said, I can see where it will attract a lot of you first gen lovers but those of us who love the second gens are still waiting on our bike. It looks like the only thing available to us at this point is the VTwin models. While I'm not looking for a new bike at this moment, I guess the new Star Venture would still be at the top of my list.
  7. That is such a cool movie. Love it and that bike.
  8. Interesting. You solved a mystery that I had actually forgotten about. My previous '99 model had the VMax rear also. On it I had the Speedohealer, not the SpeedoDRD. I remember though that the cruise wouldn't work in 4th gear. I had chalked it up to something in the Dyna2000 ignition module but now it all makes sense. It WOULD work in 5th but not 4th. Maybe the error was a bit different or something different between the Speedohealer and the SpeedoDRD.
  9. I don't have a clue but am curious.
  10. I don't think that is true on these bikes. They get tighter as the shims wear. It's not exactly a walk in the park but it can generally be done in 3 or 4 hours. Not fun but not terrible either.
  11. Google search found this: vcruntime140.dll would point to Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2015. If this does not show up in your Apps & features (Control Panel>Programs & features) list you can download and install it from here. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685
  12. That's a very nice looking trailer. Have seen something similar but can't remember what it was.
  13. Ha...hadn't even noticed. Doubt I'll put mine back though.
  14. The Las Vegas thread has been deleted. As predicted, it turned into nothing more than political debate and had little to do with offering our prayers and/or support to the victims and their families. I should have stopped it days ago and apologize for letting it continue. This is just a notification for anybody who may be looking for that thread. This thread will be locked and not open to comments.
  15. Before you do any of that, check that the squelch on the CB radio isn't causing it. If it is set too low, it will try to received distance signals and cut the radio and etc. off. Either turn the CB off or set the squelch on 20 and see if it still happens.
  16. Just sent you a test message. Seems to have worked. I uploaded it from my computer though, it may be different if you are trying to link one. Will test that later. Make sure the image that you are sending does not exceed the maximum size.
  17. At long last, we finally found a few hours to take the Waverunners out on Sunday. We were only for maybe 4 hours but it sure felt good. First time they have been on the water this year. Both batteries were shot so I had to replace them. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. $55.00 each at Walmart. I was worried about the gas after sitting since last fall but they fired right up and ran great. I put a can of Seafoam in each one and topped the gas off and had no problems at all. It was short but fun. Maybe the only time we'll get them out this year but at least we got them out. Almost time to winterize them now.
  18. @Flyinfool the pictures have been restored.
  19. Ohio changed their law a couple years ago. It was previously shotgun only. Now you can use a rifle that shoots a straight case handgun round. Not sure if the 444 would fit into that category or not as I've never seen a handgun chambered in that round. Don't know exactly how the law actually reads.
  20. I've owned a couple of Marlin 444 over the years. They are fantastic brush guns.
  21. You can get an adapter that converts it. It has a headphone jack as well as the charging jack. Here is one example. https://www.amazon.com/Lightning-Adapter-Earphone-Charging-Silvery/dp/B073WCJX5J/ref=sr_1_20_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1506311768&sr=8-20-spons&keywords=headphone+lightning+adapter&psc=1
  22. I think it looks good but still not the riding position that I prefer. I just like the feet forward cruiser styling. That foot under or back position just hurts me.
  23. You have to look all the way through from the opposite side but you can see them. Use a flashlight if you need to. Unless they have been removed at some time, the screws are covered with brass caps so they won't look like screws. You have to use a long slender screwdriver to pry the caps off.
  24. I use the color tune with the tank and airboxes in place. I do unbolt the tank just to raise it enough to remove the dogbones for access to the front plugs.
  25. I think it's as good a place as any. I would be happy to create a forum for it if you folks think that is best but don't think it's really needed.
