  1. Convert it,, a cargo trailer is a handy thing.
  2. We have a forum for that, called 'In memory of', that way it's easy found, or you can plunck it right here so that those who were interested enough to post get an immediate copy and know where to look.
  3. Wow, he made it, but left you with an empty spot,,,, that is going to take some time to get used to. In the process you will find that the Spirit of the Great Master will be with you. Another experience under the belt, and more love received. May you be blessed in the time of sorrow.
  4. And OOOO,,, cognac would be a good color.
  5. Most of us are married, have been married, wish we were married or glad we are no longer married,,,, either way, I am married, have a wife, and if your wife ain't happy, there ain't nobody happy so I let her move the coffee table occasionally. Yep, that's change and I don't like it, but it's going to happen anyways, so I let her. Now when she wants to move the bed??? there had better be a discussion!!!! OR ELSE!!!! Wellllll we had the discussion,,, now MOVE THE FLIPPIN BED!!!!!
  6. You have found a safe haven. It's the guy(s) who look after this site, especially the top boss, the people who join the family, the lack of advertizing, and the fact that this site doesn't need to make money.
  7. My boss sold 2 tractors a month ago,, says we are going to retire a bit, take it a little easier, you know,,, just don't do as much as before.....Welllllllll, he went to figure out the contracts this week and now he's looking to buy 2, maybe 3 more tractors,,,,ya,, hold off on the snow, we ain't ready just yet, yet.
  8. I'll second the pump relay. Remove headlight and then search under windshield for the relays, all nicely in a row at the top front behind the headlight. It's most likely the second from left as you face it. Take it out, drop it on the floor, put it back in and see if it works. Mine did for another 3 years after is had an attitude. As for the hose from the petcock. It goes from the petcock to the fuel filter, in the process, like you noticed, it is held in place by 2 hooks. Reason for that is that it stays in place, for if it should move it is bound to get bit from the joint in the gas tank. Take a look and you'll see what I mean. Part of the joint should have a cover on it to prevent the hose from being cut. This happens when, as you ride, the suspension is compressed and the swing arm comes up to almost hit the tank,,, ya they could have designed that better!

    The Potty

I got 2 grandkids that could resemble that.
  10. I hit the quick navigation button,,,,,,,, and guess what????????? A Spyder came into view,, but just for a split second,,, almost could have missed it.
  11. I seen one today that wasn't wanting to be seen. He was riding on the right side of the lane, going a little slower than traffic and it seemed that he felt he should not be getting in the way, so stayed to the side,,,,,,BAD MISTAKE!!
  12. Sure is nice to be reading this post by you,,, it could just of easy been somebody else posting it. Guess you have some more time allotted to you yet before eternity. Use it wisely. And Blessings!
  13. Seems everybody has their limit,,,, this guy is extending his. A new twist to the saying: A way to use use fuel and make noise without the benefit of horse power,,,,, this way you have MORE benefit of the noise.
  14. I vote for CONGAC and Chrome,,, everybody comments and stops to gaze on the congac, and it would make me feel right at home.
  15. We have nosy neighbors, they know when we leave, when we come back, and whose been here in the meantime. 'course they think it helps to be friendly to the local butcher.
  16. What??? new feet?? and no heart,,, guess it was time to find out. The best to you, and prayers on the way up.
  17. Nah, he's got long hair.
  18. Been there, done that in 2005. 1st a Honda 750 Night hawk, and then the 85 Venture,,, same feelings, same results, only difference is that I had a 1st Gen and you got 'stuck' with a 2nd gen,,,,,, now if you really want to ride,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I shouldn't say it,, not on a Venture Forum anyways.
  19. If you need a spot to work on a scoot, that might be able to be arranged, but storage is another story. Just talked to Dan at Brantford MC, they store your bike for $40 per month, includes winterizing and trickle charge the battery once per month. All under cover but not heated.
  20. You could look at renting a storage unit, or if you have room rent a 'box' put on site.
  21. Why postpone the inevitable, we\you know it's got to happen,, and soon probably. So plan it and then do it. Better to have a plan and get it done, when there is, and you, have time, rather than have an issue and then have to deal with it in a hurry or pinch. If you plan, you are in control, if you wait for fate,,,, well get ready,,,, it's kind of like riding! Plan your work \ then work your plan.
  22. My son-in-law, Dean and his boys have 5 or 6 of them. They tear them done to the last bolt, rebuild them and then use them for pulling in the mini-tractor pulls. They have a large electrolysis tank for removing rust, repaint and add parts as needed. They sure were the item to have, and still are for those who know quality.
  23. Check your air filter, see if you burned a hole in it.
  24. I have 3- 2005 chevys,,, only the PU has a spare tire attached, the other spares are sitting in the garage where they'll be handy in case I might need one. I also have road insurance, so they can come to fix a flat if that should happen.
  25. Is there something wrong with my eyes or are those trees out of sight? I'm falling off there just thinking about it!
