  1. Well you don't look like any poodle I've ever seen, but then if you say that to be the case then who am I to argue,,,, but needing a shave? well that most certainly should be on the schedule. As far as self-protection, I'll give Tippy a quick call,,,, I don't think you got it quite right.
  2. Does this comment mean you is calling some of us DOGS??? I resemble that remark!!
  3. You're ot the only one, common occurrence. What I have done is to repair the plastic with Plastex and an extra support around the body of the lock area. You must, repeat, must clean and roughen all the areas where you want the Pastex to take hold, no glue, no finish either from paint or the finish of the plastic mould. Then you need to make sure that the inserts run nicely into the lock area, they might need to be adjusted a little.
  4. Could there be a different feed to the coils at different rpm's? don't know what for and what good that might be,,,, just a thought.
  5. I would say: that baby has been out before.
  6. Problem solved either way EH??
  7. Look in the car where you left it when you bought it,,,, happens.
  8. Flash Player might be too fast for you Puc,,, maybe you could find a version of 'pokey player' somewhere.
  9. Looks real good Eck,,, just wondering abut the tires,,, gonna leave the 'rust' on them to show age?
  10. They're shipping them all off to Canada I bet. Wonder how they are going to sneak them over the border,,,, on second thought it might work famously..... ship them over here so they can return to Florida in the winter and help out the economy in that state. Anything to get votes I tell ya.
  11. Opps, no piscture for me. That jet presses in place and can be cleaned where it is. The carb body has a hole for the needle, but the jet determines the size of the hole. I don't think you would want to remove it, nor do I see a reason for you to do so. It can't be blocked, but could use a cleaning maybe. The size of the opening created by the jet with the needle inserted is probably the least of your worries, I would guess it should be close but not super critical.
  12. It's the dealer next door that thought I mght be able to come up with one close by. We do work back and forth a bit. Thanks all for your input.
  13. First off,,, the father is nuts,,, totally nuts. I agree that he was not in control or that he could re-gain control if needed,,,, crazy!!! But on the other hand, I think we protect our kids toooo much nowadays,,, well some of do. We need to let them loose a bit more often, but that takes prior training on the parents first of all and then the right kind of up-bringing from the start. For many of us thinking about a 6 year old running a dirt bike or sno-mobile on their own?? we cringe!! but then those of us who do have sheltered our kids more than some others and the kids are not ready to handle things properly. For others, the kids have learned early on the fear of hurt, the fact that if you don't put your foot down on the stairs right you get to feel what a tumble feels like. These kids operate on a different program than some others, but it's not for all kids, or parents for that matter. I didn't put a tight rein on my kids when they grew up,,, on the other hand I would not have done what was seen on the video,,, that's nuts!!! My grandkids are being raised more of less the same, one grandson ran a 48" lawn mower at age 5, he sat on the edge of the seat to get at the controls and nobody was allowed in the yard when he was busy. Today @ 10 years old,,, hey it's his birthday today,,,,,that young fella will outclass many grown-ups with common knowledge, what's safe and what is not so safe. Has to do with his character and his upbringing and for sure,,, different strokes for different folks. But NO!!! my sons would not have done this either.
  14. We will remember him, and ask our Father for His presence in the lives of those who mourn.
  15. Good to hear this news,,, so prayer does work eh? AND DON'T exercise you ankle on a center stand,,, there has to be more fun ways to mess things up again.

  18. Here I was looking to see what all the fuss was about. It took a while, comparing the two pictures,,,, but!!! then I noticed the change,,,,,,,,,,,, it's the driver seat! :happy65: Wow I found it!!!! Making any other changes while you're at it???? like put some chrome on and a few did-dads maybe???? I know, I know,, must be the glasses,,, nice scoot Bro,,,, real puuuurdy!!!!
  19. There are problems and situations in this life,,, problems you can do something about, but, situations are there to stay unless they can be identified as a problem. You have a situation,, so forget about it, let it be and go on dong something else you enjoy,,,,,,, UNLESS:think::think: You can come up with a solution,,, then it becomes a problem and can be dealt with. Solution???? ride faster!!!!! it might perform two things for you, one is that you might be able to get enough distance in to account for a days ride,,, and secondly, you'd be harder to catch. On second thought,,,,,, you're not riding a Venture,,,, forget I said anything,,,, you now are back to having a situation!!!
  20. Does that mean that if it's in the tool box we need to know how to use them as well,,,, another steep learning curve!!!!
  21. So what you do is take one for a test ride,,, when you bring it back at the end of the day, tell them your from out of state and got lost. If it works, don't ask me to test ride my Spyder!
