Went out shopping this morning,, looking for some additional butcher cases from which to sell our products. Then I came home for lunch and helped myself to a bit of a snooze. I do that most afternoons, I find it gives more reason to have a couch downstairs and it lets the work pile up a little bit more so that I don't have to bend over so far. I did put my back out once when I bent over, so a guy has to be kind of careful with that,,, so I am! Well anyways, the snooze came to an end when Marca showed up with the groceries so I helped her get them into the house, and then seeing as I was already somewhat working I figured I might as well see what was needing doing out in the shop. One of the things that has been bothering me is the amount of them there little spiders that I seem to have an abundance of. They is everywhere. Today was a good day to attack them so the first thing I did was to open the garage door to let the shop air out some and to throw some more light on the subject, and I thought that if the air cooled a bit, them spiders would not be as tricky to get. Once I had the door open I got ready to set up the vacuum and get to work,,, when wouldn't you believe it ???? there was the grandmother of all spiders sitting there in the middle of the floor, just looking at me. I never seen something like that in all my life,, at least not I could immediately remember,,, too big for the vacuum and downright scary. I had to stop to consider what to do,,,, smash the crap out of it?, boot it out the door?, call Marca so she could be scared with me?, call animal control?,,,,,, I was totally undecided when that beast decided things for me! It was looking at me with 2 BIG eyes, it's tentacles were twitching, and those big black legs were searching for grip. No it was not coming at me,,,,, it was actually headed for the open door, when I realized that my neighbors dog was out in the front yard and it had it's eyes on him. I could not let that monster get out the door but I didn't have the where with-all to stop it either,,, and I was feeling sorry for Jake, the dog,,,,, so I did what any groan man would do I suppose,,,, I gathered all my will power, threw it in the garbage, and climbed on the back of this beast to give it proper direction. What a great ride,, took in about 2 hours of pure fulfillment.

Lots of ideas, and all of them work,, some for some, others for others,,, but none seem to work if the prep work isn't done right. Everything needs to be clean, no foreigners in the area, no grease, oil or dirt and any finish needs to be removed. -
Well you don't look like any poodle I've ever seen, but then if you say that to be the case then who am I to argue,,,, but needing a shave? well that most certainly should be on the schedule. As far as self-protection, I'll give Tippy a quick call,,,, I don't think you got it quite right.

Does this comment mean you is calling some of us DOGS??? I resemble that remark!!

You're ot the only one, common occurrence. What I have done is to repair the plastic with Plastex and an extra support around the body of the lock area. You must, repeat, must clean and roughen all the areas where you want the Pastex to take hold, no glue, no finish either from paint or the finish of the plastic mould. Then you need to make sure that the inserts run nicely into the lock area, they might need to be adjusted a little. -
TCI repair SUCCESS, sort of..

They're shipping them all off to Canada I bet. Wonder how they are going to sneak them over the border,,,, on second thought it might work famously..... ship them over here so they can return to Florida in the winter and help out the economy in that state. Anything to get votes I tell ya.

Opps, no piscture for me. That jet presses in place and can be cleaned where it is. The carb body has a hole for the needle, but the jet determines the size of the hole. I don't think you would want to remove it, nor do I see a reason for you to do so. It can't be blocked, but could use a cleaning maybe. The size of the opening created by the jet with the needle inserted is probably the least of your worries, I would guess it should be close but not super critical.

First off,,, the father is nuts,,, totally nuts. I agree that he was not in control or that he could re-gain control if needed,,,, crazy!!! But on the other hand, I think we protect our kids toooo much nowadays,,, well some of do. We need to let them loose a bit more often, but that takes prior training on the parents first of all and then the right kind of up-bringing from the start. For many of us thinking about a 6 year old running a dirt bike or sno-mobile on their own?? we cringe!! but then those of us who do have sheltered our kids more than some others and the kids are not ready to handle things properly. For others, the kids have learned early on the fear of hurt, the fact that if you don't put your foot down on the stairs right you get to feel what a tumble feels like. These kids operate on a different program than some others, but it's not for all kids, or parents for that matter. I didn't put a tight rein on my kids when they grew up,,, on the other hand I would not have done what was seen on the video,,, that's nuts!!! My grandkids are being raised more of less the same, one grandson ran a 48" lawn mower at age 5, he sat on the edge of the seat to get at the controls and nobody was allowed in the yard when he was busy. Today @ 10 years old,,, hey it's his birthday today,,,,,that young fella will outclass many grown-ups with common knowledge, what's safe and what is not so safe. Has to do with his character and his upbringing and for sure,,, different strokes for different folks. But NO!!! my sons would not have done this either.

There are problems and situations in this life,,, problems you can do something about, but, situations are there to stay unless they can be identified as a problem. You have a situation,, so forget about it, let it be and go on dong something else you enjoy,,,,,,, UNLESS:think::think: You can come up with a solution,,, then it becomes a problem and can be dealt with. Solution???? ride faster!!!!! it might perform two things for you, one is that you might be able to get enough distance in to account for a days ride,,, and secondly, you'd be harder to catch. On second thought,,,,,, you're not riding a Venture,,,, forget I said anything,,,, you now are back to having a situation!!!
-
Does that mean that if it's in the tool box we need to know how to use them as well,,,, another steep learning curve!!!!

So what you do is take one for a test ride,,, when you bring it back at the end of the day, tell them your from out of state and got lost. If it works, don't ask me to test ride my Spyder!
