Ok, the 1st Louisiana meet and maint. day was a great success. We had 8 ventureriders show up from Miss., Texas and one from Wisconsin. What a great day, hated to see it end. Here are a few of the pics, the first one is boomerCPO, 6th is squid, owen, and sweetnothing, 7th is gunboat, 8th gunboat and cmike, 9th boomerCPO, cmike, gunboat, and scooterbob kneeling. 10th is owen cutting his sheild down.

Well we've got 4 riders hold up in Hammond, La about an hour from my house. Squidly, Lonna, gunboat and Owen left Huston this morning and have been riding in the rain most of the day. They were wet, cold and misserable so they stopped and got a hotel. Will be here in the morning when this rain blows out. Hate that they got caught in all that, weve been there before.

Ok here is the hotel info, The only one that I would half way recomend in town is Travlers rest PH#985-735-7772, rates are $58 for single and $63 for dbl. There are several Bed and Breakfast but the only Ph# I could find was for Cottage Guest House and the rate is $60 with a private bath, Ph# is 985-732-9559. We will also try to acomadte as many as we can at our house. Brad and Lonna's room is already reserved:whistling: There is another bed room and a camper that will sleep six.

Ok it looks like it's official and this is short notice, but we will be hosting a get together for maintenance and eating and whatever at my house in Bogalusa, La. next saturday, Feb 27th. Boomer and squidly have said they would be comming, maybe Wes? if anyone else is planning please let me know. The wife said she would cook so need a head count. If you would like to come friday that's fine, we have plenty camping space and there is a hotel in town (Travlers Rest and Sportsman Inn).
