Nose hair that is.. So last minute decision to take a trip to see my good friend Bongobobny (at least I THINK he's my friend... he might just call me a pain in the $?*) On the way there I kept thinking that there was a big juicy booger hanging from my nose and every time I went to pinch it off so as to wipe it on my jeans there was nothing there.. After awhile I came to the conclusion that the nose hair is almost long enough to braid and with it flapping in the wind it made me FEEL like a booger. Anyhow in my older age when I go to the barber it takes almost as long to trim the bushy eyebrows, nose hair and ears as it does to trim the head.. Am I the ONLY one? Can anyone else relate?

I really like the Kurayakin long horns because they can be maneuvered to fit exactly the way I want them to fit me.

RSV MM Accent Lighting
Wizard765 replied to Wizard765's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I can't remember what model of Harley and I don't see any on eBay right now.. As far as installing them it was very easy. Pretty much just bolted on and wired in right behind the plate. Here is a tech write up from Freebird http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?3768-Harley-License-Bracket-Light-Install -
I have a magnetic tank bag that I use on trips.. I like it because I can just grab it and go when we stop at a restaurant or whatever and it has all the important stuff in it like Wallet and Passport etc. as well as sunglasses and gloves and a hat.. My drugs.. Almost use it as an overnight bag and just saves room in the luggage for other things.. If anyone is interested I have an original tank bag for a 1st gen that I would part with .. I also would love to have a tank bib with a pocket but getting one to match up with the MM colors is proving to be very difficult

Yes the controller can pick a color.. No I don't think I can just eliminate a certain color.. The extra turn signals are off a Harley.. they replace the license holder.. Got them off eBay -

First time I uploaded anything to Youtube.. Everything worked for me.. Looks like I didn't push the "publish" button.. Please try again -
So was really having a hard time with this.. Got a mostly white bike and LOTS of chrome so wanted to show it off a little with some accent lighting. The bike really lends to doing this and I could not for the longest time decide what color I wanted to use.. Some states give you a hard time if you use Blue and red is only for the back while amber is only for the front etc.. So I finally decided.. What do you think? This one is with the bike on and lights etc. And this one is with the bike off and key removed..

Always wanted to use that word in a sentence.. So Marcarl and I went for a very nice ride this evening. Clear skys and no winds with just the right amount of crispness to the air for full leathers to be comfortable.. Even had an ice cream stop.. BUT I totally believe that EVERY farmer in Southern Ontario is spreading SH$T right now. Sometimes it is so strong it brings tears to your eyes and you cannot breathe.. All in all a good ride and nice to be out and about.. Like Therapy..

1984 Venture Royale

When replacing the shift sector you can get the cast one for a V-Max (early 2000s) I believe there is locktite on that screw and you need to heat it up then use an impact on it to get it loose. I used a hand held one and a Hammer.. Never have to worry about it again.. Actually not a difficult job at all. You don't even need to drain the oil if it's on the side stand. I would have a look in there and see. Sometimes the pin is loose and sometimes it comes all the way out and is gone so you also need the pin. Little story here.. I had arranged a ride I was leading a few years ago on a Sunday after church.. Well on the way to church I had the same thing happen to me but it wouldn't go past 2nd.. so I thought the tranny was toast. Got her home and started calling people to cancel the ride and posted on here about the problem.. GeorgeS and Squeeze replied right away with what the problem was.. so I took the cover off the clutch and took a look. Sure enough a pin was just hanging there so I pushed it back in and bent the retainer back over it.. Luckily I didn't ruin the gasket so I put her back together and called everyone back again. Had an AWESOME day with good friends and thanked those on the site here.. The $12 was peanuts compared to the knowledge, help and friends I've made here.. In the winter I got the new segment and replaced it.. -

Pulsing Back Brake
Wizard765 replied to Wizard765's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Thanks guys it gives me a few more things to look at or to suggest to the dealer. The dealer is actually trying and not giving him a hard time. It is still under warranty for a year.. I'll try and keep you posted on the solution (when we get it) -
SuperbightLed has had those for awhile. I put them in the 84 and they really worked well.. 2 of them totally filled the lens. So much better than stock. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/s-series-bulbs/1157-led-bulb-dual-intensity-30-smd-led-spider/818/ between $10 and $13 each. They fold up to get through a hole then spring out flat.

Ok so I ran into a guy with a 2012 RSMV and he is very happy with the bike except....... He as a back brake problem that the dealer cannot seem to fix. He took it in because the rear brakes were pulsing when coming to a stop. They changed the rotor and it seemed OK for about 1500 Km and the problem came back.. So he went back and they changed the rotor AND the caliper. Again the problem went away for about 1500 Km and came back.. He just wants to have it work properly. Otherwise the bike is great and all works as it should.. So asking the folks on here if anyone as any solution to this problem... or something to check? Could dry pins cause this? PS I told him about the site and highly recommended it

V max rear end swap
Wizard765 replied to Yammy 08's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I'm not sure about this but the impression I had was that it is not a straight swam pumpkin for pumpkin. IF I'm right the swap is internal gears for gears. I believe the shock mounting or something is different.. Someone with more knowledge than me can chime in about the differences.. Please? I'm also considering this swap. I actually have a spare pumpkin from someone that triked...
