  1. If anyone is looking to relocate the aux input on a second gen. I split my aux as per a thread here and installed a Clarion marine harness .Has a cap to keep dust and water out. Mounted it on inside fairing beside 12Volt outlet clean looking install and only run a short lead to my ipod.I will ad a pic soon .The clarion part number is CCAAUX
  2. I just did my clutch the clutch rod came out a bit while i was oiling disks and cleaning old gasket off.took it back apart pushed clutch rod back in and was fine.
  3. I do run 120 130 on the highway.....fuel mileage does not matter.Have been known to open it up at times so dont want to lose to much top end for a little more grunt out of the hole.Normally dont use fifth till i hit 120.
  4. Thinking of doing the swap but would like some feed back on it.looking to get the most out of my rsv that i can.Usually run with mostly hd never have a problem top end ...but would like more out of hole pull.Have done upgrades this winter Rush pipes,k&n,full Barrnett clutch, rejeted and sync. carbs.open to any other ideas.its all about have fun...
  5. Anyone know were i can find a parts breakdown for passing/driving lights. Mine have dent and scratches from previous owner. Thanks
  6. Thanks for input . I know the subject has been beaten to death .Went with jetting i stated, first time takin carbs off not to bad.will get a video sound clip of pipes. Not seen to many RSV with the Rush pipes but have to say very happy with the sound.....have snow here so the road test is on hold for a couple months....that sucks.
  7. New to site just feeling it out.Just installed Rush pipes,K&N filters on my 08 RSV.From what i can gather a safe bet on jetting would be leave high speeds staggered go up one size.Low speeds up one size from 15's to 17's.Now should i shim the needles one washer too.since i will have the carbs off i'll take caps off low speed screws for future tuning. Now any thoughts am i on the right path.
