  1. I use a set similar to the Emgo gauges Here's a link on EBay -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/UNIVERSAL-MOTORCYCLE-4-CYLINDER-CARBURETOR-SYNCHRONIZER-TUNER-5MM-6MM-/302156960566?hash=item4659f55336:g:bRoAAOSwo4pYRDVy&vxp=mtr I've found these to be a bit more accurate than the Carb Tune type and very easy to use This link even comes with a carry case. What I have is more like the following kit I have, though mine didn't come with the tire spoons. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vacuum-Carburetor-Synchronizer-carb-sync-Gauge-3-Spoon-Motorcycle-Tire-Levers-/391655319777?hash=item5b3079e8e1:g:tbQAAOSwZJBX~Uke Larry
  2. Awesome news. I've signed up for both the root beer run and the International Rally. I'm thinking I'll make this a looong week of fun. Spending time visiting both locations some between the dates. Larry

  4. WOW what coincidence. My wife & I just welcomed our first great grandson into family early this morning. 4am to be exact. Yep feeling old here to. Larry
  5. When I had my "05" I gutted the radio and then reinstalled the box after sealing holes. Instant cubby at literally no cost but time. Larry
  6. Thanks for this info Don. Good thoughts & prayers offered up. Larry
  7. Hoping for good news on your next report Puc. Yep them Docs can be a tricky lot at times. I think they like throwing those curve balls sometimes. Just to keep you on your toes. Turn a wrench or two to get ready for riding season as well as keeping worries at bay. Prayers up for you & Tipp. Larry
  8. Heather this is not the news we like to hear here. Thankfully you're here to tell us. God Bless you with quick & successful healing. Larry
  9. I had a 68 Spitfire, fiberglass tank with dual curbs. Basically a Royal Star.
  10. 1:00 it is then See you guys Sunday.
  11. Bob beat me posting the menu. If that isn't enough to convince folks to join us then I just don't know what else to do. After all we're a eating club that rides.
  12. I think I have my fair share of those tools.
  13. 6 confirmed with me, Randy, Bob+ our better halves. Sure would be nice if you & Tipp can make it Puc.
  14. Randy we had lunch today at Primanti Bros. What with road construction going on lets hope most or all is done by meet time. Yep those are BIG sandwiches. Sunday noon - 1pm is good for us too. Now to get a head count. Larry
  15. I'm still in for the meet. Bob have you picked a date when you'll be here in Mi.? Primanti Bros where's that at Randy? Larry Found it Randy, gonna check it out. Reread Bobs 1st post so looks like either 29 or 30 would be best.
  16. I should be around. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Larry
  17. Get it Dan. Offset the costs by thinning out your 1st gen bikes & parts. Once you go 3 wheels you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Larry
  18. Nice bike Dave. You & Sue will enjoy that ride.
  19. I never rode a H-D Tri-Glide but having owned two Venture trikes, one 05 Venture / solid axle Tri-Wing and a Hannigan based 09 Venture the ride comfort of the independent axle Hannigan can't be beat. Being wider & longer the performance & handling is superior to any straight axle set up too. Larry
  20. Jay try a local Fastenal store. You can sub that type of head for a Torx type too.

  22. Yep that'll smart for a while but sure glad it wasn't worse and you're still here to tell us about it. Praying for a quick recovery. Larry
