  1. Thanks guys, I pretty much figured this to be the case. I always wore a helmet on the bikes but was unsure in the case of the Slingshot. Larry
  2. An absolutely gorgeous bike Jonas. Well done friend. Larry
  3. To be specific what's Ontario's law regarding helmets? Required or not? Larry
  4. Puc keeping you in my daily prayers. Get well brother cause we got more hotdog runs to do this summer. Larry
  5. Well I survived the surgeons knife. In a day or two I'll have my first look of the area and see what kind of haircut I got (close I'm sure). So far there has been very little pain, more of a soreness feeling. That's good I suppose. In the meantime I'll most likely be borded to death waiting for total healing and trying to stay out of the garage. Doc will take a look see next week so will know more then. Thanks everyone for the well wishes and concern, Larry
  6. Thanks for the prayers Puc. Yep Monday is the big day but it'll be a few weeks before knowing how well it turns out. Keeping fingers-crossed and praying the Doc's are successful while our Lord watches over all of us. Prayers offered up for you to brother in getting your health issues resolved. Larry
  7. Lucky for you Wayne the Lord was watching over you. Now's a good time to grease those splines while you have the wheel off. Don't forget the front u-joint and shaft either. Larry
  8. Hey Dan glad you came to MD this year, bike or no bike. I for one enjoyed my time spent with you. Larry
  9. I would of used a smaller hammer than Jay thou. He tends to overdo things you know. Glad to hear that you succeded in getting it running good again. Sure missed you guys this weekend. Larry
  10. Beautiful bike & one of my favorite motorcycles. Hope you have many enjoyable miles on it. Larry
  11. Another huge thanks from me to Don & Eileen opening their hearts and home to all of us attendee's. Considering that there was huge "T" storm threats for the weekend we surely lucked out without any of that happening. Hot & muggy, sure but no rain or storms. It was great seeing old friends and meeting a few new to me folks. Larry
  12. Good info from ya all. Kickstands up 11AM it is then from exit 15 and breakfast/lunch at Denny's prior to that for those arriving early. Larry
  13. Ok folks time to decide on who's going to MD from the south east corner of Mich. Canadians too.... In past years we've meet at the TA Travel Center at exit 15 on I-75. That spot seems to work quite well and for those who get there early can even have breakfast if they want. 10am kickstands up was also used in the past leaving plenty of time to get to Don's or the hotels. Holler out if you want to join this caravan so we'll know who to watch for. Any and all other suggestions are welcome too. Larry
  14. I got home within 5 minuets of Jay too. 8:05 to be exact. Had a great day today. Another 550 miles on the odometer. Larry
  15. I have a carrier assembly taken from my 09. 10k on it when pulled for the trike conversion. PM me if interested or for more info. Larry
  16. WOW what an awesome day today. 575 miles round trip on the slingshot, a couple great hot dogs with a soda to wash em down, and not least great entertainment to boot. Don't get much better than that folks. Even got in a short ride afterwards with the Pucster , Tippy, & Bluestar99. I'm sure Puc will be posting up other greets & meets during the summer so if you get a chance to go by all means do so. Larry
  17. Hmmm, might just get hooked for this one. Weather's supposed to be good Monday through Wednesday, at least here in the southern half of the state. Will watch for Puc's Monday report. Larry
  18. I remember when Vic was building it. He did a great job on it too. For those wanting to know what body he used, it is a Tri-Wing body. Somebody will be getting a super nice trike. Hope its a member here too. Larry
  19. Condolences to Jim's family & friends.
  20. It should already be there. But check anyways.
  21. After having bypassed 2nd gear for so long on Tweaks now he'll really realize the bikes power. Now for him to add his personal touches.
  22. Well today my 83 left the stable for the last time. It was hardly ever ridden by me during the 4 or 5 years I had it, so made the decision to find someone who would actually ride it. I can safely say I found that person and know its in good hands. Scott / CowPuc now has it in his possession. With only 76000 miles on it, it has a lot of life left in the old girl for him & Tippy. Especially with Tweaks having over 300,000 miles. I'm sure folks will see him out riding the country side. Enjoy the new ride Puc. Larry
  23. We booked our room today as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Larry
