  2. We had a in cabinet fridge delivered and put in the cab . The two guys were very careful and patient with me. I believe we gave them $20 each but it took a while to set it in there. Sent from my SM-T900 using Tapatalk
  3. My 99 had the same issue and for me it was the clutch lever not returning home all the way, lube the pivot bolt. Sent from my SM-T900 using Tapatalk
  4. Before you all get up in arms about a re-post, I searched for it and was not successful. Ok, we attended the Cleveland international motorcycle show yesterday and while in the Yamaha section I attempted to pry some info from the Yamaha factory rep. I mentioned how nice a touring bike would be built around the V-Max powerplant. The gent eluded to the fact the engine is too top heavy and made it very difficult to build a frame that would accommodate a lower seat height, he also mentioned that I would be a belt drive. After further discussion he revealed "if" they were to produce a new model "you will be very pleased with the creature comforts and performance it has to offer but it will have no cassette player." The rep also suggested to look for intentionally leaked images of the bike. Hmmmm. That being said I surmise it will be built around the Stratoliner power train, we'll see. Found this on you tube, we've seen the photos but this is a nice explanation. In regards to the 2nd Gen venture, I stopped at the Ikon Suspension booth to see if they offer a rear shock and they do! Although it is not listed in their catalog they custom make them on request. It is a fully adjustable coil over damper unit for around $650. They are built in Australia. 6. When riding with the members of the BP MC I use my our ipod on shuffle mode and have a great time listening to the likes of the Allmam Bros or Segar or or Audioslave etc, but when we get to a stop light or destination wouldn't you know it that Ann Murray or Barry Manilow starts blasting out of the speakers. Steve Jobs is evil.😈 Sent from my SM-T900 using Tapatalk

  10. I used to pick stuff up from there on the way to our cottage then they started to include "free" shipping but raised their prices to make it free. Talked to the manager about throwing a bone to the locals and all I got was that shipping is already free so what is there to discount. Needless to say, there are plenty of competitors I give my money to instead. Sent from my SM-T900 using Tapatalk
  11. I use my cassette player all the time! As an accessory holder that is. I fashioned some 3/8 plywood in the shape of a cassette but a bit longer to clear the door then trimmed the holder off the back of my smartphone clip and off the back of my Garmin clip drilled and countersunk the clips and now I have two interchangeable holders positioned where I want them. Heck you could make a longer insert drill a large hole and have a cup holder too! Lol! Sent from my SM-T900 using Tapatalk
  12. I once had a critter put corn kernels in my exhaust and as the bike heated up it came out as popcorn! This is no lie and no, I didn't hear a popping sounds. Sent from my SM-T900 using Tapatalk
  13. I spent my Veteran's Day honoring a soldier who perished in the Korean war decades ago. The story is this soldier died from starvation in a Korean POW camp, his remains were returned to the states and in limbo in Hawaii til some bones could be identified with DNA testing. The remains arrived at Cleveland Hopkins airport from where we received a police escort to the funeral home in Bloomville, OH. This is the first time I have participated in such a humbling event and would definitely do it again. Thank You to all vets and public servants for your sacrifices!!! http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q654/Pauljewl/20151111_122848_zpszjusu8ui.jpg
  14. Man, wish I would have seen this post sooner. I was just at Iron Pony Saturday could have checked it out. Dag Nabbit!
  15. That is twice this month I have heard the term "pirates" used to identify a certain biker appearance. Kinda fitting though.
  16. At the truck repair shop we would send the FNG to the parts store for a gallon of liquid compression then we would call the guy parts store to mark the windshield wiper fluid accordingly. Dump it in the windshield wiper reservoir of the truck and voila that's what makes it run. Can't recall if we ever told them or let them figure it out.
  17. Is it possible to put a bypass hose with a shut-off valve between the inlet and outlet of the pump in case of malfunction? And will gravity take the fuel to the carbs if you loosen the fuel tank cap.
  18. Just glad your boy is OK for the most part, don't know his age but a sweet looking bike like an rstd sure would be beckoning me to ride it. He's probably just scared dad will be mad at him, he'll come clean some day. Good luck with your parts search.
  19. So you got these case they match the Murano???
  20. Just bought a like new corbin and have two other nice seats for sale. Would you be interested in a Saddleman Road Sofa with a backrest? I think the backrest will fit the Corbin also.
  21. Backrest is a must for me on long rides. BTW: Does anyone have a corbin backrest they would like to part with?
  22. Sounds to me like maybe Tweeks snuck over there one night and put a bug in your bikes ear.
