  1. You did nothing wrong Dan. If it was an awesome deal, and the guy wanted $10k cash, I would have walked. Let me show up, put a few hundred down, and let's head to his bank to transfer the money. Today's world, I'm not showing up with $10k cash for nothing. Too many thugs around the corner. Craigslist is full of scams, it's almost hard to find something legit in the used car market. The right Trike will come Actually there is a beautiful maroon Hannigan (sp?) on a farm south of Indy, been trying to sell it all last summer. When the weather breaks, and riding season starts up, I'll drive by and see if he still has it.
  2. It might be nice, but ours is the Best. I'd never go anywhere besides our seasoned Gen 1 masters for advise.
  3. Better get a dust cover for that beautiful ride.
  4. Whenever I feel like I missed out on something, sure enough, it turns out to be a blessing in disguise, and something better is waiting around the corner.
  5. Maybe a Loyola fan
  6. Villanova been taken down b4, depends on who shows up to win. My Boilermakers are there as well, but with there best inside man Haas out, will be a tough journey forward. At least you got an earlier game Fri eve.
  7. Before you throw much more money at it, you might research if the XP, and processor will even chug along on today's interweb. I know Microsoft no longer supports XP
  8. In Indiana, unless their is a concrete median strip, you must stop both directions. With your picture, we must stop.
  9. I'm all IU, but have a senior at Purdue, so I've been on that bandwagon for now, lol College hoops is my favorite sport.
  10. Snyper: You might completely uninstall it, power cycle your phone, then reinstall. Lots of quirky issues get fixed.
  11. I cold turkeyed cigs after 35 years, and when it came to my Diet Mountain Dew addiction, mind you that was probably 120 oz a day, it seemed impossible. First think in morning was right to the 2 litre in the refridge. How I did it, and now have maybe 1 soda a week, is this: I started my day out with a NoDoze pill, to give me a Caffeine kick. I then would take a 1/2 tablet whenever the 'lack of caffeine' headache hit, and drinking lemon water, I even filled my 2 liter bottles up with water and put in fridge so I was still in the pattern of going to fridge.. In just a couple days, I seriously was unhooked from the soda addiction, that simple. Like quitting the cigs, it's a mind over matter thing, you will and can quit when you are ready to. . I certainly am no Dr, just this worked for me. I do start my day with 2 cups of black coffee, so the caffeine jolt still is there.
  12. That hurt just watching.
  13. I'm pretty sure Home Depot sells it. There are many variations of the Product name, Simple Green. I'd research and get the best product you intend to use it for. Somethings don't belong some places. I like this purple stuff I buy from Autozone, works great for engine cleaner, etc.
  14. Thanks for making my day, I need that.
  15. Seal off everything you don't want coated with dust, and use a decent respirator. Maybe make sure you have a 5 gal bucket, kitchen trash can liners, and a seat, just in case you need to use the #2 .
  16. I agree with Zagger completely. You certainly can try the weld nut, some have fair success. Before you buy a used one, its not like that is under pressure, I'd put it together and make sure everything else is working. I would rig it with a radiator hose clamp, zip tie, or something temporary just to hold lid on and contain fluid. make sure the other repairs worked. You'll get it
  17. Yes sir, I am looking. That is a good deal, I'm just wishing for something with way less miles. My 83 only has 35k on it. lol. I am still waffling on RSV vs RSTD, I just like the fairing, but the RSTD is everything else I want. I'm thinking of an 08 and up, less than 35k miles, I like the blue/black, or red/black, and I plan to make it look something like this https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/mcy/d/2000-royal-star-venture-bagger/6505351598.html
  18. Amen, If you have trouble bleeding, a trick I learned on this site was after you bleed to know end, and there's just that air bubble somewhere keeping you from getting that perfect clutch, fill up the reservoir, place lid on top, then squeeze clutch lever all the way, and tie off with rope. Let sit overnight. Any little air bubble will naturally work itself out. At least they have for me, a couple times. And you should know better than gloat that the clutch slave was easier than expected.
  19. When all else fails, I go to the Walmart of the internet https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1/133-5316966-6969912?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=torque+wrench
  20. On my PC. Chrome is working fine. After an update last week, Edge is very erratic. I Googled issue, and others having same issues. My Edge browser even locks up at times now. It's a Microsoft thing right now.
  21. I have never lost one. Must be all the crud up there, not that Indy is much better. They have saved my college girls a time or two as well. I like keeping them on top of the frame rail, seems to hide from elements a bit.
  22. At least you left it running so she didn't get cold Locked my keys in car back in 80s. EVERY vehicle since, I've had a magnetic case with spare key hidden. Never has happened since.
  23. You might be able to find some sheathing like they use when constructing a RV Carport. Might even find something on Craigslist in your area. Type RV Carport on Craigslist, you'll get some ideas. Might find an installer with slightly dented stuff. Here's a link for ideas https://www.carport.com/metal-carports/rv-carports/ Menards sells pole barns as well, maybe they have some damaged roof material?
  24. I'd run it. The tire has been sitting in indoors, off a bike, no weight, no elements... If it was 5 years I might send it back, but 3, IMO, you'll be fine.
  25. Whenever things act up on me, I go and clear my cache, cookies, log-out, and everything. Then a reboot of my system. That usually cleans up my problems (at least computer problems).
