  1. Past hour
  2. Good morning to all. Just got the chance to sit in the shack. My typical honey to do list is to vacuum and organize my own mess per my wife. So I did that...now I can enjoy a few hours on the computer and play radio. Got called in today to 'work' this afternoon, so there goes the rest of my Sunday. Not riding and we are expecting bad weather later today. Have a great Sunday all!
  3. Today
  4. Thanks Don, I joined 10 years ago back in 2016 after buying my first bike, an 08 Venture in the fall of 2015, over the years I have gleaned boat loads of useful information to help me with my ride which is still that first Venture.
  5. My EDC is the Walther PPS and my bed side pistol is the Walther PPX. Both are extremely accurate, reliable and comfortable to shoot. I have also owned several P1s and PPKs over the years. IMHO, Walther does not make a "bad" hand gun.
  6. I think the same way and I know it cost you to keep it going, so I'll just leave it as is.
  7. I like to shoot but have no Walter’s. I have a GP100 Ruget 357 revolver, a .45 Kimber, and my latest that I haven’t even shot yet is a Kimber CDS 9. I have some others too but these are my favorites. Oh, Sig 365 is my regular carry when I do carry.
  8. I started shooting hand guns just about a year ago and on the suggestion from our good friend Barrycuda, I tried out the Walther line and found they fit me well and work very well. Currently I have 3 all in 9mm, a PPQ, a PDF-F model and a CCP I also picked up a CZ P 10 ported barrel along the way. I would be interested to here from others that are shooting the same or similar Walthers.
  9. Thankz for all you do don! this site has sav'd me alot of time n money over the years! i'll leave things as they are also!
  10. Thank You Don! It has been a great experience for me since 2006. Don't ride as much as I did over the years but still come here daily. Looking forward to another riding season! THANKS AGAIN!
  11. Don, This site has been a huge source of information, guidance, and motivation for me ever since I purchased my 85 Venture Royale. All of my interactions with other members have felt like conversations over the fence with a neighbour. You created an amazing site that fosters the feeling of community. I applaud you for that. If it's all the same to you I'll let PayPal do it's thing until that day comes when I see "404 Page Not Found" Until then....THANK YOU!
  12. We appreciate all you've done for us and this site for over 20 years now.
  13. Thanks Don! I know I been around a long long time.

  17. I've been here since 2007 I think. Thank You Freebird, I just received your memo.
  18. Little late on the reply, been a while since I logged in. I live about 3hrs West of you in Moorseville, NC
  19. I replaced mine last winter for the same reason & tightening didn't do anything on mine. I added some RTV at the half circles when I replaced them and its been perfect since. Replacing the gaskets is fairly easy, its just tight working in that area. What got me was figuring since I was doing that, I might as well check the valve adjustments, then I was like what the hell, might as well replace the twinkie gaskets & rebuild the carbs... which let to Ivan's jet kit & figuring out how to re-set my float heights. Then while waiting for some parts I tore off the swingarm to re-pack the all the bearings which lead to re-packing the wheel bearings too, lol. Ended up having it stripped down & tinkering with it for over a month. I enjoy wrenching tho so I was looking for excuses to be in the garage. Upside is the bike has never run better and its nice not to have oil dripping down the back of the engine!
  20. Thank you Don for all you do! I glad I got to meet you at the last maintenance day. I really enjoyed it. I just wished I had come to earlier one’s.

  23. Maybe "Don't have to" but I will! This forum is by far the best online family one could ask for. Thank you Don, for all that you do to keep this site going
  24. Yesterday
  25. Yes. But you don’t have to.
  26. If we leave the 12.00 going is still goes to you correct? Letting it continue is much easier than trying to figure out how to stop it.
