  2. Stick around, you never know what might be beneficial down the road and who you can help.
  3. Who knew a Honda Goldwing could double as a dirt bike?

      • Haha
  4. I retired from riding back in September. I'm not leaving here tho. Too many friends to just walk away from. I just wont be leading anymore rides.
  5. A Biker is always a Biker, like a 5 year old child on his bicycle. Don't fade away because you don't ride anymore, just rejoice with the ones that still do, Later-
  6. Yesterday
  7. I've had one for a few years. I miss the convenience of a half or 3/4 being able to drink some water while riding though.
  8. Last week
  9. Nice. Never had one but they are one of the best.
  10. The only one with rooms left is Website https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/americinn/viroqua-wisconsin Phone 608-637-3100 It gets busy around here on weekends. Give them a try if not there are places in Westby.
  11. I bought this Arai helmet off Marketplace. It’s new and was still in its box. Paid $200
  12. was wondering the name of the motel close by to stay at?
  13. I will need to wait until the next time. We just bought another house last week and there is too much to get done with moving and prepping it
  14. I was hoping to make it but my nephew is getting married that weekend. Can’t skip that.
  15. How is it looking for some company. Looking to seeing some Venture Riders
  16. Have fun on your test ride. The Voltage at 13.7V is what you want. Healthy voltage! I think your riding season has just started and thousands of miles ahead...
  17. no need to leave the forum
  18. I bought some Prestone antifreeze that said was compatible with Aluminum and Cast Iron but didn't get any positive response about using it so bought from dealer who got this at a good price and I paid $13can for it! Bought 3! Checked all fluids and topped them up,started bike and meter showed 13.7v at idle and increased with throttle so hopefully take for test run tomorrow and my charging problems are solved!
  19. Happy Trails
  20. What @N3FOL said! You can still keep intuch with everyone here even if you don't ride anymore!
  21. Take care @uechi kid, but we will still be here talking about bikes and everything else. Hope to hear from you time to time in this forum. Enjoy your summer!
  22. The time has come for me to say goodbye. I haven’t ridden much in the past 5 years so I sold my Venture. I need to make sure I thank everyone here for being such a great community. You’ve made being a diy guy so much easier. The expertise here has saved me time, money and a lot of aggravation. It’s been great. Ride safe. Rich Flay
  23. How much for just the saddlebags?
  24. Good morning to all! Glad I was able to cut the grass yesterday. Off to church then washing the truck later this afternoon. Enjoy your day.
  25. I had one hydro lock but fortunately the piston with fuel must have been at TDC so no clunk and no damage, Took the plugs out and it sprayed fuel all over when it turned it over,
  26. I think it depends if another cylinder fired with that one going up on compression stroke, that’s the big clunk. They’ll sometimes run for a little while until the bent rod lets go, often opening an inspection hole in the block.
  27. Earlier
  28. Hydrolock was the first thing that came to my mind. Doesn't that usually bend a rod instantly?
  29. Sorry to hear about your brother, my condolences. I will be here when you want to talk about lighting.
