I have a Garmin Nuvi with the windshield mount in my truck. Has anyone ever mounted this to the windshield of the RSV. It won't hurt the shield will it?

Does anyone know if official Technical Service Bulletins are available to review? I know that they are available for dealers and their mechanics, but I doubt that they would make them generally available for their customers to view. It just seems that considering with how readily information is these days, someone must have a database of these TSBs on-line. I figure that it couldn't hurt to be familiar with potential problems which might arise at some time in the future. Thanks! Pete.

They just had an earthquake around L.A. said it was felt down to San Diego and slightly in Vegas. Doesn't seem to be anyone hurt so far. Hope you all are ok out there. Margaret

guess what i did to my stock mufflers? i took a metel rod and knocked out some holes in the end of the mufflers. gave it a deeper tone alittle more rumble. does anyone know if this is going to hurt my 2006rstd? didnt get anybackfire , maybe time will tell. any one ever tried this before

Hello Everybody, I have a question about our CHAT ROOM. I am usually on there every night, with the usuals who are Mini Muffin, Beer 30, Ruffrider, dray, Howie,Skid, Rocket, gmc, flb and several other pretty faithful chat users. My question is why is it some of you never try the chat room? Mini and I have been faithful to the cause, because we believe it is a nice way to get to know other members, who you more than likely will not get to know because of the distances between our home states. You know like California and Ohio for instance. I have met Servicedog, Ladyrider, Princess M from California and Vicco from Oregon simply by coming on to the Chat. What a wonderful thing. I realize that many do not have the time to get involved with this every night; but I guess I am saying why not come in just to try it one time. What would it hurt? If you hate it, forget about it, I also realize there is the problem with the time zone differences. Here on the East side of the USA we usually come in around 9PM and hang in until around 11PM if I do not dall asleep at the keyboard. It really is fun. We can really get into interesting discussions. One night we almost solved the problems of the world. Do not miss it. You will never know unless you try.Anyway, please come to try it one time. Hey it is free and we promise not to hurt you. Hi Guys, Speaking to a friend of mine who has an 05 Venture. He tells me that the engine in the Ventures can take alot. He suggests pushing it a bit harder and that you won't hurt the bike. I have an 07 Venture with about 5000 km on it. I don;t want to hurt my baby, but would like to rev it up a bit more.......is it ok to push it thru the gears harder? Thanks

I just hit a deer while pulling a CycleMate 2000LTD. I could not scrub off enough speed before impact & the trailer kept pushing me and the bike off the road. I felt very helpless & I got hurt bad & totalled the bike ! Trailers make your bikes stopping distance increase a lot and increase your chances of getting hurt or killed ! JJ

I have been running Rotela T Synthetic in my 1st Gen for the last 20k miles. There is a tiny leak that is really nothing more than an annoyance either comming from the stator or the transmission cover. Just enough to make a small wet spot under the kick stand but not ebough to ever have to add any oil between changes. I've changed the gasket on the transmission cover but that made no difference at all. I'm beginning to think it may simply be synthetic oil. I've heard different opinions but my question was, would it hurt anything to go to Rotela T standard oil? The bike runs great and I don't want to do anything to screw it up. As you can tell I'm no mechanic. Just wanted ya'lls advice.

Please don't think that I'm stupid or anything, but this has been boggleing my mind ever since I got my RSV. Is there anything that you "have to do" to the speakers before you wash the bike? Can they get wet? If they do, will it hurt them? I'm not trying to sound stupid, but this is my first bike with an audio system and I don't want to ruin it. Thanks!
