I am toying with getting one or the other. I really would like the 500, but have heard about the hard drive issues on a bike. It might be a little big but other than that has a lot of features. On the other hand, the 250 is a card reader, so doesn't have the hard drive issues but a lot less gps than the 500. My question is, who has either one, and what is your opinion of yours? BTW, $ is an issure, so the Zumo is out. Thanks, Steve

My collector has started rattling and it's driving me insane. How hard is it to remove this little critter so I can take it to work with me tomorrow and gut it? Thanks in advance Ed -
Changed my fuel filter yesterday and is it just me or does anyone else think that something as basic as a fuel filter should be a lot easier to do? Why would they make something like that so hard to get at unless it was to make work for mechanics at dealerships? The nut that the roll over valve uses is almost impossible to get your fingers on and I have small hands. Even hard to get a wrench back there. Wouldn't that be a good place for a welded nut instead of a loose one? Anyway, got it done and I'd do it again to save the cost of labor but it sure was a PITA. Has anyone found an easier way?

How hard would it be to install this AMP in the fariing to give the speakers just a little more volume? I'm not sure I understand what would be hooked up to it. I have had a problem with one of the saddlebag latches on my 2004 Venture. The latch is extremely difficult to open. It closes just fine but to open it I have to press down on the latch with both hands really hard. Does anyone know about this problem or how to adjust it?

My wife doesn't like to 2 up on my 93 like she did on my 83. She says it is too hard. I have tried to use different pressures in the CLASS as well as in the dampers, but as a driver I didn't notice any difference untill I was riding on a bumpy road, even at slower speeds, it was hitting the bumps so hard it felt unstable. Are there situations that the rear shock gets stuck and it acts like a hard tail? How can I tell?

Just said good by to my faithful friend today. Digger my greyhound whom I rescued just over 8 yrs ago when his racing career came to an end. Life is a bit sad at the moment. Went for a blast over the hills to clear the head.

Saturday, I rode up to Anamosa, Iowa with a friend (mostly in a hard down pour for more than an hour) to see the motorcycle museum and go to J & P Cycles. I looked for a tank bag for my 89 Venture but it seems they are hard to fit. What tank bag favorites do others use for their 1st gen? I'm looking for a small to medium size bag. Tim
