  1. Someone else mentioned campmor. They have an excellent selection of name brands. When I was a scout leader we used LL Bean dome tents for the adults. Very roomy and you could stand up in them. I believe you get what you pay for. Walmart doesn't sell the best equipment. My 2 cents.
  2. Most people that carry inside the waistband buy larger pants so the handgun will fit better. I prefer outside the waist. Let us know when you shoot it what you think.
  3. If you drove it down it would be exposed to the elements. Same difference , eh?
  4. I have one of those. Being small it's going to have a nice kick. The laser is sweet too!

I've installed two wolo's from harbor freight. Great price and even comes with the relay.
  6. My 686 is an original. No -N after the number. The previous owner (friends father, who is deceased) had it done.
  7. Ok, if we’re doing a show and tell thing, here’s my smith and Wesson 686 ( 357 mag) with a magna-ported6 inch barrel. Grip is by altamont. Their grips are sweet!
  8. There was a company called Riders insurance that was available in July and ohio that I used when I lived there. They were a reliable outfit. I don’t know if this is the same outfit.
  9. There should be a rider ohio advanced course need you. Try googling it. Got mine when I lived in Dayton.
  10. The cowboy in the photo is Evil Roy, a famous cowboy action shooter. Not sure why he's holding a .22, cuz they're not allowed in cowboy action. suggest you upgrade to a larger model in 38 special. It'll feel more like a real rifle.
  11. I had an XLT with cloth seats. I liked them. They were not boiling hot after sitting out in the sun, and not like a frozen icicle in the cold of winter. Leather seats don't really do it for me unless they are premium leather like you'd find in an expensive luxury car. Thats my 2 Cents.
  12. Alright guys let the rest of us iron the secret code. what the heck is BOAKYAG"???:confused24:
  13. Sure are a lot of reloaders among us. I got serious about reloading when a box of 50 45 colt was $50. When cowboy action shooting I would go thru 4 or 5 boxes in a day. That's an expensive hobby. I reload .380 38 special, 9mm, 45ACP 45colt in handgun; .30 carbine, .223, .308 winchester in rifle. Don't reload shot shells yet. These are all calibers of what i own. I like the LEE precision items. Inexpensive, and spare parts are inexpensive and readily available. Give it a try. It can be relaxing to make a few hundred rounds in an afternoon.
  14. Yeah, the price of new bikes is too high. But I have been able to buy used bikes with hardly any miles on them for great prices. I guess the idea of owning and riding a bike is better that the actual owning and riding it. Lots of 2 or three (or more) year old bikes with less than 6k miles on them. That's my market.
  15. look on one of the gun sites like cabelas, or natches shooters supply. They sell a two part compound that you mix together and pack in your ear. It hardens into a custom molded ear plug. Very comfortable.
  16. 32-20 is an odd caliber. If you intended to shoot it you may have a hard time finding ammo.
  17. Nice wheel guns. The 7.5 inch barrel Vaqueros are not made anymore I believe. They have a nice balance. I have an old model Vaquero with 7.5 in barrel in 45 LC, and a Bisley vaquero also in 45LC. I used to cowboy shoot, and should get back in it.
  18. Very Nice, especially with the black and white contrasting each other.
  19. All I can say is .... Apple. I went to the other side a year ago and haven't looked back.
  20. I have a vtx 1300 also, and last year put a set of Shanks on my bike. I do't do a lot of miles a year but they seem to be wearing well. G
  21. I put a set of Shinko's on my vtx 1300 late last year. I don't have a lot of miles on them, but visual inspection says they still look like new and are wearing well. G
