Well I finally got a new computer, so I don't have to use my phone to look at stuff on the internet, I did get the Maintenance Day put on the calendar but other than that I have just made some quick looks here and to post with my phone just takes me way to long. I see that there is some catching up to do. We have had a busy fall around here late September we had had a straight line winds go threw and took out some of our trees and some damage to my bigger shed roof and side wall, Then came the flood and took up most of October and November repairing roads and cleaning up here at our campground. Now that winter is soon to set in around here and the bikes will be taken apart and get them all ready for next seasons riding, I will have some more time to get all caught up. Orlin

I am going to be shipping some parts and am wondering whats the best way to go about this, And who offers the best deal. Thanks Orlin

Yes you need to report this. I went threw pretty much the same thing with my daughter and these boys are most likely doing to others also. Stand by your daughter have her talk with someone that deals with this kind of stuff she is looking for help. And yes I wanted to deal with it my way but was convinced buy my wife and good friend that if I did I wouldn't be able to be there for her from where I would be if I did what I wanted. If you need someone to talk with feel free to give me a call my number is in my profile. Orlin

I put the leveling links and the 130 tire on makes it a much better handling bike. And you don't notice much of difference in the height I am 6'1 and still flat footed when setting on the seat. If you get to Viroqua look us up we always like to get out for a ride. Or just have some company. And the last weekend in June we have a Maintenance Day here at our place it's always a good time. I have one on my RSV and I really like it. If its hot just put the top part down and when it gets chilly or you plan on a long day on the road put it up, It has stood up well being cleaned and I don't get any vibration at all. And seems to be pretty good in the rain. Orlin

Its getting close can hardly wait, Sure is going to be great to see everyone that can make it. Going out this Friday and Sunday to do the pre rides, I am sure that everyone will enjoy the rides and get to see the area. If you haven't rode in a group don't worry we take our time so we can enjoy the ride and take in the sights. Orlin

Sure do hate those close calls, I had something very similar happen to me on my 92, I was going around a slight turn and I couldn't get it to keep going around the curve I got it slowed down enough to stop before I went off of the road. And that was the steering head bearings it was a slow ride home and very hard to steer. Its good you got off of the road and stayed in the saddle. Orlin

Sure do love spring time getting to see the new life that comes with it, We have a family of fox living behind our shed two adults and three kits I got to watch them for a couple of hours yesterday while I was back there working on the water for the horses they got so they didn't care about me being back there they seem to be used to all of goes on around here. I had a 1974 that looked like this one, sounds like I may have got the same kit for mine, I went into the Suzuki shop that was in Viroqua and told Morris that I wanted to go faster and what did he have . Used to ride it to the moto cross track that was about ten miles from here and race it in the enduro class even got a few trophies. Sure was some fun days.

I put the wires behind the battery and in front of the rear fender, I still have to mount the cb in the side bag. As for a easy conversion its four bolts and hook the wires back up again to put the trunk back on.

There are a few Amish leather shops around here and there is Wild Things in Rocton not far from me, and if they can match it. If not I am going to have Ace High Leathers make it.

Puc , Very nice pieces of art, must of been a blast to build and ride them. The one in the pic a friend of mine had it and couldn't get it to run after it sat for a couple of years so I got for next to nothing hauled it home went threw it and I wanted to lean back more and instead of droping the rear of the bike I got the front end from a guy in Lacrosse and it did just what I wanted loved the ride. I can still hear my Dad saying now what are you putting on there and your doing what to the motor, But he would have to go and look in the garage to see if there was anything different on it when he would stop by. I got that one in 1980 and had it until 1985 before that it was dirt bikes and my TS250 to ride on the road.
